I am a single father to a wonderful 3 year old angel (aliliana) and my parents watch her the days I work. I like computers, love to read and, when the muses allow it, write. I believe in God, yet do not consider myself as religious, though I do not begrudge anyone for their own beliefs and would fight for your right to believe whatever you choose to have faith in.

I am honest (to a fault), sincere, extremely soft-hearted and sympathetic, yet can be a smart-ass. I believe in chivalry and traditional courtship (still open doors and pull out chairs), yet I can also be over-the-top at times. I believe that honor is dead in society, but I try to keep it alive in my own life. I am a free-thinker who likes to learn all sides of any matter (even the ones I do not agree with). I strongly believe in fairness and compromise, yet on some things, I can never bend... I am, after all, a habitual non-conformist, but I do love differences in opinion, and I will still talk to people that have beliefs that are polar opposites to my own (best way to learn all angles of a matter), though I do not like to argue. So, it seems I am a southern gentleman who is somewhat arrogant (much like Doc Holiday, if you have ever seen Tombstone..."I'm your huckleberry"). I tend to bring out strong emotions in people and you will most likely either love me or hate me.

C'est ma vie

An aspiring novelist but inspiration and motivation have been somewhat lacking of late. I have created an entire fictional world over the years complete with maps, language (my daughter's name is a direct translation from it), alphabet (quite beautiful actually), code of honor (akin to chivalry and/or bushido), and a library of notes... yet nothing published, nor even completed yet (though many rough drafts). I'm in no rush and quite content at the moment.
I mainly spend my time with my daughter or computer when not able to go out. My best friend and I have been brewing beer on a regular basis for the last few months and getting good at it. We periodically hold small "beer bashes" to unveil the latest brews, if you are good, you may get an invite :)
Unless something breaks down at my job, I don't do anything at all, so that's the time I usually get online... doesn't make me lazy, there is just really nothing to be done up here.

A better question is what am I not good at? A bit cocky, yes, but there aren't many tasks I have not been able to accomplish once put up to it

Eyes, smile (dimples), witty, funny, seriously huge smart-ass (cant help it, its in my nature, and I love it) lol. Also, I stopped aging at 19... doctors say I may live to be 300!

Books: art of war, lord of the rings, the silmarillion, a song of ice and fire (game of thrones), legend of drizzt, the illiad and the odyssey, Behold a Pale horse, The Bible (and not just canon either, I've read the gospels they took out of it), Books of quotation, sometimes poetry (need to be in a certain mood), Anything about history or warfare tactics and logistics

Music: 60's to 90's rock. Especially bush, rolling stones, alice in chains, TOOL, perfect circle, dave mathews band, R.e.m., metallica, ac/dc, megadeth, Pearl Jam, Live, ozzy n black sabbath, avenged sevenfold, ...todays music had little talent or art involved, and I'm speaking primarily (c)rap and country, sorry country girls, I may like you and accept your own style of music playing in the car without arguement, but I'll never like it

Movies and shows: Star wars, including clone wars (nerds can be hot too, I think I prove that), Dexter, tombstone, golden child, lord of the rings, v for vendetta, game of thrones, Firefly, serenity, 300, inception, the beach, Indiana Jones (except for the last one), kingdom of heaven, troy, last samurai, patriot, fifth element, limitless, congo, fight club (but I dont talk about it), Matrix (the 1st one...the others were a disappointment), Pirates of the Caribbean,

My daughter, my computer, my phone, food, rationality, family

On the weekends I work, I'm at work. On the ones im off, I'm a parent, so I dont usually have the luxury of being able to go out, but that doesn't mean I won't get a sitter and go out if someone makes an appointment
