My self-summary
im from Charlotte North Carolina. I really wanted to get away from the mindless, apathetic, bigoted south. I try to keep myself surrounded by people with at least the same intellect as me, for good conversation. Although I am the furthest thing from judgmental as you can get. I have all sorts of friends. From white to black to a friend with autism. I cannot and will not tolerate hate in any sense or form. It genuinely hurts me to see someone getting treated badly based on something that the person has no control over or even something they do have control over, i.e. hygiene issues. The heart and mind is what makes a person, in my eyes. Not the clothes you wear, the people you know, how much money you have or how often you shower.

I have a wide range of interests including music, video games, blogging and politics. Me, I consider myself an independent thinker while at the same time relate most closely to liberal democrats than any other. I thoroughly enjoy fighting for what is right and doing everything in my power to inform the uninformed. To me nothing is worse than ignorance and believing that ignorance in itself is bliss. I rally whenever possible around issues that I believe to be worthy of my time and effort. Some of these issues include gay rights (because gay rights are human rights), women's rights, childhood poverty, poverty in general, decriminalization of marijuana nationwide and most recently women's right to choose what healthcare they deem necessary for themselves including abortion and contraception.

I thoroughly believe in separation of church and state and think that the fact that it's even being questioned is ridiculous. The church and religion in itself has done this world nothing but harm and has killed so many people that deserved to live by what they believed. The atrocities of the church over the millennia have been overlooked and forgot about for far too long. It's scary to think of our country with even more influence by the church especially when there is far too much already. I believe that "in god we trust" should be taken off of our currency and I believe that creationism should be banned, on a national level, from all curriculum in our public schools. I am a born again agnostic. I believe that there is probably a God somewhere but I believe that there is no way of knowing him or her through a doctrine of man. I believe that only one's heart can know the true god/goddess or gods/goddesses.

I also believe that it is quite possible that we were colonized here by beings from other planets. I believe it is possible that we were not only colonized but genetically engineered from primitive life into what we are today. I don't believe that we acquired the knowledge and technology that we thrive on today on our own.

I am a news junkie and follow politics pretty heavily. I am a federalist and believe that one central government should have one set of laws and punishments for the whole country. I don't believe that states should be able to have their own laws that contradict the law of the land. I believe that the people should have a more direct say in what laws are made and what punishments should be given rather than a legislature that has no idea the effects that certain laws and punishments truly have on people, mainly drug laws.

The war on drugs is a failed war and I believe that this country would be a much better place if all drugs were decriminalized and addicts were treated like people with illnesses and offered help other than being treated like criminals where they are locked up among killers and rapists.

Our legislative branch is broken and needs radical reforms to be made. It is a proven fact that prohibition does nothing but create more crime and destroys more families than regulation. Alcohol is a prime example. From the time prohibition was enacted to it's repeal, crime rates rose and while the number of people who drank went down, the number of deaths from alcohol poisoning and drinking and driving went up.

I love to travel. I would love to travel to Europe and to the Mediterranean. Venice, Italy is one of the places on my bucket list along with Egypt, Greece, London, France, Thailand, China, Sri Lanka, India, Japan, Australia and Russia.

I am working on getting into college so I can pursue my life long dream of becoming an Anthropology professor. I would love to travel the world, work with archeologists, discover things that have been lost to time and try to decipher who lived there and what their culture was like. I would love to eventually get a tenure with a prestigious university and do what I love to do: teach.

I love to sit around and have intelligent conversations but I hate when someone disagrees with something that I have to say and turns a conversation into an argument simply because we believe differently. I believe what I believe and you believe what you believe and there is no reason to argue over beliefs. I respect people and what they think and I hope to get the same in return. I do love to debate politics and religion. Two faux pas that I frequently and delightfully indulge in. I love to sit around over a cup of coffee or a beer and talk politics and god.

I love hanging out with friends at the bar, coffee house or club. I like to go out dancing every once in a while and I don't mind firing up a j and laughing about nothing or while playing Call of Duty or Skyrim. I am a 360 guy through and through. I don't watch much tv unless it's a documentary or the news. I do like watching the Food Network. I love to watch Fox News basically because it's entertaining to watch the crazies. It is scary though that they have so much influence over the sheep that watch that garbage and take it seriously.

I am currently not in the best position in life right now. I want lots of things but mostly i would love to just have someone who will accept me for me and who won't judge me based on my past. I don't care what you look like or how old you are. I just want to just have someone in my life that will accept me and be understanding and patient. I have a huge heart with lots of love to give. I just need someone to give it to.

That's pretty much it. I know it's a lot to read but I sort of wanted to be thorough on how I think, perceive the world and what I want out of life. I can promise that there is so much more.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Religion and how it has destroyed the human race and it's free will. And politics and how corrupted things are and why the war on drugs is still being waged when it was lost a long time ago. ohhh and how the prison system is just an industry, one of the biggest industries in the country. THAT IS A VERY BAD THING! Did you know that the US locks up more people per capita than any other country in the world? And we are a free nation? I think not!
