My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
You know, I've tried sincere, I've tried funny... I don't know what to put on here. I'm going to try for Informative, at least...

I'm a computer tech, and I'm currently studying full time to get a better job in the computer field. I've lived in Syracuse for about 8 years, but I'm an introvert and a workaholic, so I still don't know Syracuse very well. I'm the kind of guy who likes being open-minded about as much as I can, which includes trying to learn new things and suggesting new things to others.

I love music, especially rock of all kinds. I sing and play guitar and piano. I'm also teaching myself bass and drums, since I record music at home in my spare time (and publish it on YouTube when it doesn't sound bad). I also am the creative type in other ways. When the muse hits, i write poetry, my own songs, and I'm working on some stories that I hope become books in my spare time.

I value loyalty, honesty, good conversations, and good friends. I've been lucky to meet extremely good friends over the years, and I appreciate them very much.

I am Weird, but in a good way.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently studying full-time, working full time and attempting to figure out the meaning of life (42). I'm also getting into the habit of exercising at least once a week, trying to work my ass off (or my stomach actually) and get into better shape.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing Computers. Video-games. Listening to others. Giving good advice. Seeing the good in others, though sometimes I'm wrong about that... Day Dreaming. Seeing the beauty around me that others sometimes miss. Kissing (I can provide references). Other things... For a full and detailed list, just ask.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It'd probably have to be my sense of humor, which is dry and sarcastic though never intentionally mean. Though my hair (long and in a ponytail) would probably come in second.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
A) The entirety of Harry Potter, most Dianne Wynne Jones books (especially the Chronicles of Chrestomanci), the His Dark Materials trilogy, the Eragon books (called the Inheritance Cycle now), the Vampire Chronicles, the Mayfair Trilogy, the Sookie Stackhouse books, the House of Night series, Vampire Academy, Vampire Diaries and anything else that strikes my fancy.

B) My god, too many. Romantic comedies, comedies, horror, action, sci-fi, fantasy... you name it. Examples include: 300, 2012, A Walk In The Clouds, As Good As It Gets, Constantine, Erin Brockovich, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, French Kiss, I Love You Man, In and Out, Life As A House, Mickey Blue Eyes, Next, Real Genius, Sneakers, Someone Like You, Speechless, That Touch Of Mink, The American President, The Count Of Monte Cristo, The Craft, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Killers, The Ugly Truth, The Three Musketeers, Tron, Yes Man, You've Got Mail ... add hundreds to these.

C) All Rock, throughout the years. I know songs from Elvis and the Beach Boys to Fall Out Boys and Aerosmith. Some bands to give you a better idea include: Lacuna Coil, Beatles, Aerosmith, Al Green, Alice Cooper, Alice In Chains, Audioslave, Billy Joel, Bryan Adams, Bush, Counting Crows, Creedance, David Bowie, Def Leppard, Deftones, Disturbed, Dishwalla, Dropkick Murphys, Enigma, Evanescence, Fastball, Fiona Apple, Five For Fighting, Frank Sinatra, Flaming Lips, Jace Everett, La Secta, Live, Maná, No Doubt, Queen, R.E.M., REO Speedwagon, Roxette, Stone Temple Pilots, The Fray, The Wallflowers. This is just a sample. And obviously, I don't know ALL the songs of ALL the above. I just know certain songs I love.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family
My friends
My computer (internet included)
My cellphone
My guitar or piano
My car
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How the world could be a better place, how we as people tend to forget our manners or think less of those we think have menial jobs, how silly people can be, how incredible some news stories are, how incredibly beautiful the world can be...

And all those naughty thoughts....
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out at home watching a movie or series, or with my friends somewhere, be it at someone's house hanging out, or out playing pool or something (though that's rare now).

The company's the key.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am a paradoxical dichotomy:
I'm the hopeless romantic.
I'm the kinky, high-libido pervert.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you like long conversations... if you like movies and/or video games... if you're open minded about the millions of possibilities in the universe...

If you like gentlemen who will open the door for you any time their absent-mindedness lets them remember... if you like guys who are honest and kind...

If you have a perverted side kept in check by the want to share that side with someone special and not just some schmuck...

If you just happen to have eyes where men could lose themselves in the dark pools of depth and beauty behind the facade of color....

And of course, if you want to.
