I am a student of life. I enjoy watching nature and society, reading a good book, walking in wilderness and the city. I feel that a day I learn nothing is a day I have wasted.

I am something of a goth though I find that that term is limiting and seems to redefine itself at will as I get older.

I am very much a geek with a touch of nerd and dork thrown in. I like to understand how things work, why things are the way they are. I am also a storehouse of useless trivia.

I used to read a lot of fantasy and science fiction but recently I read anything that seems able to hold my interest. I touch on sci-fi here and there still. I am currently reading Michio Kaku's Parallel Worlds and it is blowing my mind in a good way. I like horror movies and comedies, the darker the better. I enjoy industrial music and many other types. I like trying food from all over the world. My favorites are Indian, middle-eastern and Thai.

Hydrogen, oxygen, carbon, nitrogen, good friends and love.

Everything. I think too much. I practically live in my head.
