I love playing Drums...and contributing my lyrics towards my bands music. This band is my life, but there is room for more and im very much looking forward to meeting a decent gal . I love watching movies of all genres and reading comics of all genres. And i also enjoy just saying whatever pops into my head...thus Shpadoinkle will be heard from me alot! Im kind of a geek but not the stereotypical geek, im kind of a mix of all the different personalities ive come across. I really enjoy getting out of the house and just going somewhere...i have to constantly be doing something, whether its reading, practicing my drums alone or with my band, taking care of band business, or just anything. I also enjoy my down time too though...relaxing and just getting some time to unwind without tons of things bothering me...its a neverending balance really. Factor in the part where me and a pack of Lucky's just sit outside in the morning with some coffee and im as relaxed as a guy can be. Most of all i like having a good time, whether im the one helping give a good time for my friends or close one, or if im just along for the ride...if your not laughing your crying...so i try to keep myself around funny and happy people. I did live in OH but as of 2010 im in the St.Pete area in FL. I was born in CT and ive lived in Florida most of my life off and on. Hopefully, i'll get to see a good part of the U.S.A. and the rest of the world through touring and the likes.

I am Motivated, Thinker, and Jester

For the most part im working on my musical career as a Drummer for my band SelVent. Nothing comes without hard work and dedication. I've made scarifices already either financially or emotionally and there will be more im sure of it. Other than that i work full time or part time jobs to bring in cash to put towards my band. This band hopefully when im dead and gone will be my legacy.

Well, i dont consider myself the best drummer out there, but i know im really good at drumming and im always practicing to try and learn new things to get a bigger bag of tricks (per se). Im also very good at saying very random things apparently...ill just be thinking of something in my head...and for some reason ill just have to say it(did i mention that earlier...whoops). It usually makes for a good time. Im good at video games though lol, ive been a gamer since i was a kid and i enjoy having a good fun night of Halo 3 or Call of duty 4. I also have really good business skills and visionary skills for conceptual work i.e. my bands logo design, tshirt design, and working on concepts for song material(in a nutshell i like trying coming up with cool ideas for everything i do).

Im tall...as in basketball player tall lol. But i dont play basketball, though i do enjoy just playing or shooting hoops for fun to kill time. Other than that a common first impression or another first thing people notice is i tend to be very passionate about things i talk about or do. Which also can lead to me rambling on seamingly about nothing...of course it makes sense to me...but thats were the geekiness comes in...most people don't know what im talking about because all i ever talk about is drums,movies, comics and music.

I have alot of favorite comics books...to many to list but heres a few (just in case your one of those cool gals who likes em too)...Captain America, Daredevil, Green Lantern, anything Ed Brubaker writes, Thor, JLA and JSA, Criminal, and everything Jae Lee does,as far as novels and such i love the DOOM series and the Resident Evil series, and them awesome Halo Novels. Christopher Reeve came out with a book called "Nothing is Impossible" which was amazing. Also, the "gods debris" was an eye opener. plus, the shape of illusion..that book was cool.
Im a big metal head, so i listen to alot of Lamb of god, Mastodon, Gojira, Chimaira, Slipknot, Fear Factory, Thin Lizzy, Arch Enemy, Meshuggah, Dream Theater, Testament, Overkill, Megadeth, Old Korn, Tool and alot of other metal bands. BUT, i have alot of musical tastes...metal is just the main one i guess...i like seal and otis redding, ill even admit i liked fergies cd when it came out (the whole cd lol). I love calzones...seriously its crazy. And i love japanese food...really in general because of how tall and slender i am i have to eat alot...like a horse...so i like food in general. I just never get fat...its a curse and a blessing...cant gain weight...but if i dont eat alot for a week a lose weight.

First, My drums is numero uno. Second, my band. Third, whoever my significant other is. Fourth, my comics...those things keep me sane. Fifth, my music...gots to have good metal jams to listen to. And last, love...im a lover, big time...i would be lost without eventually finding love

6. Comics (gotta get my Green Lantern and Captain America fix)

I spend junk loads of time thinking about musical lyrics that eventually are used for my bands songs. Sometimes something will pop into my head and i just have to write it down, and eventually ill write more lyrics around it to make verses and choruses and breakdowns. I also spend alot of time thinking about my drum parts and new drum parts for songs me and the guys are working on...gotta be on my game if i want to evolve as a songwriter and drummer. Other than that i spend alot of think time on new gear for my drums or the guys guitars, or comics...occasionally i slip in a thought about various other things.

Well, when the band isnt writing new material or on down time...a typical friday night (if worked out right) is spent playing a show. I love playing shows...its a chance to go make new fans and meet other bands and just go have a good time playing music with 3 other guys who just get who i am and connect with me. Its really something cool to be apart of. If im not playing out that night then on a friday night im usually trying to plan going out and doing something like dinner and a movie or going to a movie, then going to a friends and doing some drinkin(i have a weakness for Jack Daniels lol)...or just following what the night brings.

I dont really have alot of private things about me so this is alittle hard to do...i guess the only thing i can think of is on one occasion after getting fairly drunk one friday night i was taking a nice hot shower before i went to sleep and my guitarist(Dave) was standing in the bathroom talking to me over the curtain(because we are both tall) while he was also drunk...it was kinda awkward but he didnt want to be left alone in the living room because apparently there was a gal who was over and trying to get him to sleep with her, which he wasnt really up for. All in all it was kind of a funny situation but still awkward. Other than that i cant think of anything else.

Definitely message me if you think im someone you would enjoy being around and are SERIOUS about meeting and hanging out. Ive been to other sites where people just send virtual gifts to each other and lame stuff like that, and they dont really want to meet someone. Im REALLY trying to find a decent gal who has a sense of humour and has ambitions who likes to have good times and can understand what my life entails as a drummer in a band.
