My self-summary
Hey, I'm Dara!

I'm straight-edge, which means I don't drink alcohol or do drugs. I'm also (mostly) vegan, which means I don't eat animal products. This means that you probably won't see me on a bar stool, chowing down on a hamburger anytime soon. (It's totally ok if you do it though.)

I just moved to Bisbee from the east coast to take over my brother's lease until I move to Santa Fe, NM in late august/september. Just looking to kick it and see what happens from there.

ENFP, in terms of the Myers-Briggs personality test.

I am a level 2 Reiki practitioner. Ask me about it!

Feel free to contact me, but please start more of a conversation; I thrive off of mental stimulation.
What I’m doing with my life
E.G.
Smiling, waving, laughing and saying "It's a wonderful day, isn't it?" to strangers on the street.
I.E.
Trying to be as compassionate as possible towards myself and other people on a daily basis. Trying to live in love instead of hate.
(Isn't that all that matters?)
I’m really good at
Getting lost and not feeling anxious about it.
&
Making a cup of coffee that is the consistency of mud.
&
Talking to strangers on park benches.
The first things people usually notice about me
"Why are you smiling?"

Also, people often come up to me to tell me I look like someone they know. Guess I have one of those faces.

Movies? Food? Not really my jam.
BUT IF I HAD TO CHOOSE:
I have a netflix account that I rarely use. I'm all about reading and listening to the radio! NPR ish: This American Life, The Moth, Radiolab, etc.
Cherries, Pineapple, Kale, String beans, Korean sugar donuts filled with sweet red bean paste. If it's the spiciest thing you've ever put in your mouth, I'll love it. If you make me pancakes, I'll be your best friend forever and ever.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
How people are what they want to become already. You just have to reach deep inside of yourself and pull that stuff to the surface!

How the universe works / my purpose and the course of life / how I can improve myself (mind-body-spirit.)

How strangers are just friends who haven't met yet.

Spirituality/Buddhism/New Age stuff.

Philosophy, art, creating pieces of writing, photography.

Camping.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Since I'm bi-sexual and on OkCupid, I feel the need to say that I'm not into group sex. Please don't send me a sexual messages on here. It's totally creepy.

I don't have a car.

I'm super stoked to be living in the Southwest again where avocados are 25 cents each. (All the people from the Northeast reading this are smiling too.)

  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating

You want to give me the inside scoop on Bisbee. I don't know anyone here. It's mad tiny.

If you're latin/hispanic, a redhead, or have a slender / athletic body type: I'll probably dig you.

If you're an artist of any sort. (I graduated with a B.A. in creative writing from an art school in Santa Fe.)

If you want to do something outside! (I was raised in a NJ state forest so nature and I are tight.)
