My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’m an empty essay... fill me out!

I promise, my dear profile page, I will take the time to work on you *crosses fingers*.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I wish I could say I chased my dreams, but I'm merely just trying to pretend I do.
Still it's getting better all the time and maybe one day my desire to be alive will get me to a place where it's nice to stay. Who knows?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Tech stuff, thinking, solving problems. These are the things that always came natural to me. So, it's really no surprise that over the years I've been into many different things, from electronics, to programming, Linux, math and of course, my old love, physics.
If that makes me seem to be some kind of one sided person, keep in mind that it's just the stuff that I'm kinda good at and not everything that I do - or try to do :)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm an introverted, shy guy, somewhat awkward, somewhat genderfluid, who might get silly from time to time :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Music is what keeps life going through my veins and what makes my heart beat. If it wasn't for music, I honestly can say, I'd be dead by now.
To give you some idea of the things that I like, and thus by proxy what kind of person I am, here are names that just spring to my mind (in no particular order):
The Beatles, The Smiths, , The Cure, Piano Magic, Franz Schubert, Dark Sanctuary, Air, Papercut, Joy Division, Reinhard Mey, George Harrison, John Lennon, Zupfgeigenhansel, Alcest, Faun, Eric Clapton, Blackmore's Night, Yann Tiersen, Freiburger Spielleyt, Dhalia's Lane / Wild Silk, Tenhi, Tangerine Dream, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Welle: Erdball, Qntal, Bassic, Symphony of Science ....

Shows, Movies? Ahh, uhmm ... Carl Sagan's Cosmos, Contact, Star Trek TNG / Voyager, Star Gate, Daria, Adventure Time and of course the old Star Wars movies. But that's about it. I don't watch TV and I never bothered much for movies, it's too easy to pick a crappy one :/

Books? Uhmm, do textbooks count? I love reading textbooks :3
No? Mhh, then... I got some Oscar Wilde recently.
I've been entertaining the idea of getting started with hard science fiction for quite some time now, only I don't know where to start. Recommendations welcome.

Games? I don't know why in this day and age the OkC people didn't think about that category. They really should have.
My favourites are the Legend Of Zelda games, with Ocarina Of Time at the very top, of course, and Pokemon, the 2nd generation. Then good old strategy games that you can play with / against human friends, like Age Of Empires 2 or Civilization. Simulation games such as SimCity4, Industrie Gigant. Shooter-wise I once used to play Bf1942, don't really care much for shooter games anymore though. Console-wise I dig retro stuff. I have a ton of N64 and SNES games, and a fat PS2 with a hard disk. Ohhh the memories =) The only modern one I bothered with is the 3ds.
Today I sometimes might get some games when they are on sale, often Indie titles then.
But I also just do have to admit that I don't really play that much games any more. There are so many more exciting things in life that eat up my time and occupy my thoughts. Gaming is just for those times when I feel a bit down and out. However, like movies or music it does say something about my taste, and maybe who I am, and that's why I'm including it here.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, Music, Music, Music, Music, Music.
No, srsly, it's important to me.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
irrelevant stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Playing guitar at home, all alone.

I'd need you to take me out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I want to be loved, just like everybody else does.

Although I may be considered an adult by now (*sighs*) I still love playing Pokemon once in a while :3

Also, some folks said I'm not so much of a man. Boy, what did they know.

I've been battling with depression for quite some time now, I do have my downs.
