I am realistic, joker, and blunt.
My Self-Summary
I think I'm ... average, not quite normal but who is normal really.
I'm 5'11, 200 pounds, I have brown hair and hazel eyes. I had long
hair for a while, and never really got around to putting up a
picture with it. I cut my hair at the start of 2009, it's a new
style for me, and I like it.
I like to do pretty much anything. I love a good adventure. I can
also dig on just hanging out catching a flick. I'm looking to meet
new people, new friends, etc..., so drop me a message, and we can
see what happens.

What I’m doing with my life
Life is good.
Personally; I take things as they come, and I don't take life too
seriously. I am always looking for a good time, some fun, some
adventure, whatever may come my way. I am trying to be more active,
to do more fun stuff, and get more stuff done that needs to be
done. Basically I'm trying to become more fit. I'm not trying to
get into shape, I am in shape, round is a shape. However, I could
be more fit, so that's what I'm working on, eating better, and
getting more exercise.
Recently I started taking some classes in swing dancing, which so
far are a lot of fun, and I bought a bicycle that I've been riding
around my neighbourhood. Riding is less fun than dancing, but it
sure beats the stationary bikes at the gym.
Professionally; I work in Geophysics, I am a manager of the tech
support department for a small company that builds Geophysical
sensory equipment. It's a good gig, pays well, and offers me lots
of freedom, and flexibility.
I’m really good at
There are a lot of things I'm good at, not so many that I'm really
exceptional at. I have a good sense of space, how things work, how
things go together, and what flows with what.
I am certain that I can accomplish anything, given enough time, and
motivation.
The first things people usually notice about me
I really don't know what people notice about me, perhaps my hazel
eyes. How about you tell me what you notice.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Books - To be honest I'm not a big reader, but I've read a lot of
Chuck Palahniuk's books, The Zombie survival guide, and I enjoy a
good book on Sumo, and Samurai. I read Silent Bob speaks recently,
and right now I'm working my way through the Harry Potter
series.
Movies - to quote Billy Crystal; If it's not funny, it's not fun.
Comedy is my main genre of choice, be it smart witty British humor,
expertly delivered one liners, or slapstick. I love a movie that
will make me laugh. Second to comedy comes Sci-Fi and action. A
short list of some of my favs includes; Star Trek, Iron Man, The
Dark Knight, Serenity, Kill Bill 1&2, Die Hard (all of them),
300, The Princess Bride, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead,
SuperTroopers, Beerfest, Groundhog Day. The Fast and Furious movies
are a guilty pleasure of mine, I'd make an excuse, but I like cars.
There's a lot of good movies, too many to mention really.
Music - I love music, there's usually a song playing in my head
when there is no ambient music. I prefer new Rock and Alternative,
but anything with a groove will do. Some bands that I'm digging on
at the moment; The Arkells, Kings of Leon, K-Os, The Silver Hearts,
Queens of the Stone Age, Finger Eleven, U2, Guns n Roses, The Hip,
Falloutboy, Boston, Rush, The Trews, Wolfmother, and many many
more. Then of course there's a whole catalog of older music that I
still enjoy.
As a side note to music, I love karaoke. From what people tell me
I'm a pretty good singer, and I love to get my yodel on now and
then to make my world seem right.
One of my friends bought "Rock Band" for the PS3, so I've been
singing when we play and I'm lately way into the soundtrack from
this game. It's a lot of fun.
Food - Food is another love. I am willing to try most new things
that people would consider mostly normal. I am not a vegitarian,
but I'll eat my greens. Give me Italian or Greek, Steak or Chicken,
Burgers or Burritos, Sushi or Sashimi. If it's good then chances
are I like it.
I like to cook. Since I live alone I chose to learn to cook for
myself instead of ordering in all the time. I have a selection of
dishes that I like to make, and then some days I'll just experiment
like a mad scientist in the kitchen and see what new stuff I can
make.
The six things I could never do without
My Computer - I'm a bit of a geek. Could I tell you the exact specs
of my system? No, but it's a cool toy.
My Car - I have a shiny red sporty car. Maybe it's a guy thing. I'd
go into details but I know most women don't care.
Friends - I'm glad to have em, you know who you are.
Family - Your family are the ones who you know will always have
your back, and I just want to do the same for them.
Camping - I go camping maybe six times a year, it's good to get
away from it all. Cool beers on a dock, cooking roast beef on an
open fire, hanging out in nature, who could think that's bad?
The beach - 2 main reasons, beach volleyball, and girls in bikinis.
need I say more?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Beer, Cars, Women, Food, Sex, Video games, Solving problems in no
particular order.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with my friends, chilling having a beer, hitting up the
movies, hanging at a bar, seeing live music, too bad there's only
one Friday in a week.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
You'll need to be more persuasive to find out.
You should message me if
If you have a pulse... ba doom boom. No, um, if you like to have
fun, if you like teh funny, if you want a ride in my sports car. I
don't know. Message me if you think I'm interesting. The more
interest I get the more I'll want to add to my profile.
