I love to laugh. That's probably the one thing anyone who knows me can tell you. They may also tell you that I'm very smart, but I'm personally not so sure how much good that's done me to this point, but I guess it helps me keep my head above water. I am an Atheist, but strange as it may sound, not in an anti-religion way. I'm more anti-irrational dogma than any religion. They all serve a purpose unless they promote violence or intolerance.
I've had experience in the performing arts as a dancer and doing tech work for theater, dance and musical concerts. I don't get to go to performances as much as I'd like, but I do enjoy every so often going to a live show of some kind.
I consider myself generally easygoing, and I like to be around people who are positive, open-minded, thoughtful and considerate. As far as a date or possible mate is concerned, I really am open. The few restrictions I have are that she is not obese, belligerent or unhygenic. Also, if you don't know the meaning of at least two of the previous three adjectives, it's probably not in the cards for us.

Right now, I'm working at a bookstore, trying to write a fantasy novel, and looking into starting my own business. I still have a lot to do to get where I want to be in my life, but I don't want that to stop me from enjoying life and trying to improve my lot in the world.
I also have a 29 gallon aquarium, a 5 gallon nursery aquarium, and a breeder box for my guppy fry. Didn't really plan on getting that deep into it, but I guess I was ready for it once I bought the guppies, lol.
As I said above, I do like from time to time to get out and see a show, or a movie. I'd love to go to more sporting events, but somehow don't get to them as often as I like. Still, I can usually sneak one or two into my schedule each year. I really enjoy walking when I have the time.

I have no idea lol. No really, I'm very good at my job, mundane though it may seem. I hope I'm good at writing. I've had some of my poetry recognized in a couple of different contests. I think I'm very good at making others feel good, which is a really neat thing. I used to be a modern dancer and was very good at making the most of my limited experience and talent.
I also like to do voices, accents and sound effects. I'm better at some than at others and sound better to myself at some than I do to others. I only do it for fun really. At least most of the time, you can tell what I'm trying to do.

I love to laugh and I can speak at least semi-intelligently on a very, very wide range of topics. I am one of those who knows a little about a lot. I'd like to be more focused on the one hand, but I so enjoy learning about everything. Apparently I remind people either of Denzel Washington (near-sighted), Richard Pryor (astigmatism), that guy from Matlock (the second one, Clarence Gilyard, Jr.) or the WaMu guy.

My stepson. Why I haven't done more with my life, why human beings seek their worst levels, who would I donate money to if I were rich. How nice it would be to have someone to truly share a deep and abiding love with. Why does the NFL hate end zone celebrations. How long would getting hit by a neighborhood gamma ray burst (500 or fewer LY away) hurt before vaporization.

Working, although not every Friday night. Thus are the vagaries of retail.

I used to have the feeling I would end up marrying an Hispanic woman, probably because I'm in Texas. I don't care about race, I just thought that would happen. So far it has not. Also it's not private, but a lot of people don't know I danced professionally as a modern dancer for about 13 years. Also not really private, but I'd love to fly in an A-10 Thunderbolt II and fire the GAU-8 Avenger 30mm cannon at an inanimate target, just once in my life. Pretty wild for a pacifist, but to feel that kind of power just once would be pretty cool.
