My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Totally a nerd, with whatever that means in a world where the President is concerned for Jon Snow, Dr. Who is on American television networks, and Marvel has redefined the Hollywood blockbuster.

I like a little of everything - in particular visual media like video games and movies. Spend quite a bit of time looking at why these mediums are important and how they impact us as viewers/players, and how they are great mediums for allowing us to empathize with others. (And also I like the idea of communicating ideas without using words.)

All sorts of games are cool by mean. Very much enjoy board and card games, as well as sports.

I just took up kayaking, and I'm pretty certain I have terrible form (if you know good form and don't mind sharing that info....)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.

Enjoying the little things.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Forgetting my lunch.

Giving gifts.

Making obscure movie and television references.

Using semicolons correctly.

Committing to LMFAO "Shots" jokes ( to the annoyance of my sisters, I'm sure).
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!

Or my glasses. (I don't mind the "Harry Potter glasses" reference, but to me, they're "Dark Helmet in Spaceballs glasses.")

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no order: electricity, the universe, showers, music, friends with dogs, frozen yogurt
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why do we like the things we do?

Why do they always lip sync in music videos?

How can we get women's sports more coverage and the attention it deserves?

Why do people pronounce it "ree-cee's pee-cee's"?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Don't really have a typical Friday night. Sometimes I go out for a drink, sometimes I stay in and watch a movie, sometimes I run around and do chores. If it's a clear night, I'll take the telescope out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm pretty sure OKC thinks I'm "more organized" because I keep a budget. I'm not totally disorganized, but I would hardly call myself particularly organized. Does anyone understand any of OKC's algorithms?

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to.

And I dunno, if you have a story you just love to tell or you're super knowledgeable about something and want to show off, I am a pretty good listener (or, ya know, reader in the case of online messages).
