My self-summary
I'm the technology manager of a cinema and I'm really interested in visual media. I like movies, comics, television, and games, and the idea of telling a story and creating a feeling without words. I really like trying to create my own board or card games. Can't say they're necessarily any good, but the process is fun. Creative and weirdly scientific.

Big lover of the sciences. Enjoy watching and playing sports. And I like going out to try new kinds of beers. (Hope to start brewing some myself if I ever get the time.) And I enjoy hiking, kayaking, and bike rides.

Oh, and I'm one of those weirdos who actually likes winter.

I'm going back to school in the spring, so I may be kinda busy. But I'm pretty good at making time.
What I’m doing with my life

Enjoying the little things.
I’m really good at
Making Ghostbusters references.

Gift giving.

Staying up way too late looking up somewhat pointless information online.

Probably up for debate, but to my ear, I'd say I do a pretty solid Fred Schneider impression. (And Damien Rice, for that matter.) Note: this might not actually be true. There usually aren't other people in the car with me while I sing along.
The first things people usually notice about me

The six things I could never do without
In no order: electricity, the universe, showers, music, friends with dogs, frozen yogurt
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why do people pronounce it "ree-cee's pee-cee's"?

After all the NFL has done - with concussions, with domestic violence, with their breast cancer campaigns - will I ever be able to enjoy it again?
On a typical Friday night I am
Don't really have a typical Friday night. Sometimes I go out for a drink, sometimes I stay in and watch a movie, sometimes I run around and do chores. If it's a clear night, I'll take the telescope out. Do people have a "typical" night?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Things like Making A Murderer, Serial, and Central Park Five totally terrify me and play up on my irrational fear of being accused of a crime I didn't commit. It's a super weird and specific fear, I know. But it scares the crap out of me to have to prove I didn't do something I didn't do.
You should message me if
You read anything in there that makes you think we'd get along. Or you are passionate about something and want someone whose ear you can talk off, because few things entertain me more than listening to someone talk about something they love.
