My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a nerd, with whatever that means in a world where the President is concerned for Jon Snow, Dr. Who is on American television networks, and Marvel has redefined the Hollywood blockbuster.

I like a little of everything. I particularly love visual media, specifically video games and movies. Spend quite a bit of time looking at why these mediums are important and how they impact us as viewers/players, and how they are great mediums for allowing us to empathize with others. (And also I like the idea of communicating ideas without using words.)

I enjoy playing board games, card games, and pick up sports. And I love trying new beers. And going for runs in the rain. And just chilling outside in the yard or on the porch on a nice evening. Maybe taking the telescope at if it's a clear night sky too.

Want to get into kayaking. Seems like a cool activity. Love being on the water.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
In no order: electricity, the universe, showers, music, friends with dogs, frozen yogurt
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Why do we like the things we do?

Why do they always lip sync in music videos?

How can we get women's sports more coverage and the attention it deserves?

Why do people pronounce it "ree-cee's pee-cee's"?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Don't really have a typical Friday night. Sometimes I go out for a drink, sometimes I stay in and watch a movie, sometimes I run around and do chores. If it's a clear night, I'll take the telescope out.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Sometimes I write terrible parodies, including a parody of Katy Perry's "Roar," basically about the health risks of snoring. (Three guesses what it was called.)

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You want to. Internet communication is pretty chill and low key, I find. (Although this might very well be my privileged male perspective speaking. I'm pretty sure women have a fundamentally different experience with this stuff than I do.)

And I dunno, if you have a story you just love to tell or you're super knowledgeable about something and want to show off, I am a pretty good listener (or, ya know, reader in the case of online messages).
