My self-summary
Hello, I'm Doug, a human male from the bright and sunny city of Dundee. (Bright and sunny is an ever so slight exaggeration)

I'm fresh out of college, recently finished a stint volunteering with a disabled children's charity to keep myself busy. Hoping to go back to college or uni in the next few years to study therapy, and help others like myself who have social anxiety disorders (Agoraphobia is my own particular ailment, wOOt! It doesn't stop me from leading a good life though thankfully)

I'm a big geek and proud of it. Star Wars is a slight obsession of mine. I have been known to try the Jedi mind trick on bartenders. Who knows, one day it could work, and when it does, FREE RUM! "You WILL give me that bottle of Captain Morgan" *Waves hand*

I'm a generally happy and funny person, no major dramas, no baggage, I'm a great listener and I find it quite easy to get along with people from most walks of life. My interests include playing guitar, drawing, writing, and making a complete fool of myself after a few rums, but hey, nothing wrong with looking silly once in a while, if you can't laugh at yourself etc etc.

I'm looking for someone to have interesting conversations with about science over many a cup of fancy tea. Feel free to spark up a conversation, unless it's about Football, which sadly I know nothing about.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm looking into going back to college/uni soon, I want to study counselling and help other people with agoraphobia and social anxiety.
I’m really good at
Making tea. I also play guitar, and love to draw. Also DIY and building things. I will happily sit for hours and tear apart some random piece of technology, and rebuild it as a formidable war machine.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have the bluest eyes on the planet. In P2 I won an award for having the prettiest eyes. It was kinda weird.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Star wars... nuff said!

Musical tastes include Lacuna Coil, Emilie Autumn, Def Leppard, AC/DC, The Birthday Massacre, Aerosmith, Kamelot, Dragonforce, Queen Adreena, Epica, and on occasion a small helping of Kenny Loggins. DANGER ZONE!

Books: I'm a big fan of Tom Clancy, love a good military drama. I also love science books, I'll read anything by Brian Cox or his band of merry physicists. I also have a large stack of Star Wars novels I'm slowly working my way through.

FIREFLY first and foremost. Game of Thrones, Stargate, Walking Dead, Supernatural, Archer, BSG, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, sons of Anarchy, Arrow has to be my favourite at the moment though, even more so than GOT. Also 2 broke girls is my guilty pleasure.

As for food, nothing beats a nice chicken tikka, with a huge naan bread.
The six things I could never do without
1. Tea
2. Tea
3. More Tea
4. Another tea
5. Your tea if you don't finish it
6. Irn-bru
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Space, the final frontier. I once wrongly thought I had cracked faster than light travel with a relatively simple gizmo I put together, but all it actually did was startle a pigeon.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting on my PS4 and/or building a random gadget for funsies. Saturday night is party night, not Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My nipples glow in the dark thanks to a failed experiment involving mutated Jellyfish. (Comes in handy when you can't find a torch)

I'm also the proud owner of the catchphrase "Sweet Satan's buttcheeks in a blender!"
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 23–31
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to go with me to see How to train your Dragon 2, I don't want to be that one adult sitting alone in a kids movie! Talk about creepy!
