My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello there! I'm originally from Bristol and recently moved here to Aberdeen. I would say I'm driven, inquisitive, adventurous, chilled out and definitely a thinker. I'm cursed with the knowledge that any of us can make a massive difference to our world if we fight for it hard enough. Which is a bit of an inconvenience when I'd much rather see the world and muck about!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Work wise I am an aircraft engineer, which I love doing. It's hard work some days, and took a long time to achieve, but every day is playtime!

In my spare time I enjoy reading, watching movies, airsoft (it's a slightly childish combat game- great fun), riding motorbikes, watching live music, drinking with buddies, mountain biking, hiking (the scenery up here is AMAZING), looking around old buildings and museums, fixing and racing cars and I also run the pan European airsoft association.

Everything I love doing is so much more enjoyable with company and I also love to try new things.

I've been moving around allot, I was in the Army for a while, and I've lived in Hong Kong, North and South of England and Germany. It would be cool to meet someone who's up for adventure. I've still got a strong urge to go exploring.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Fixing mechanical things, organising stuff, track driving. My sense of smell is good enough to be borderline superpower but I don't think I'd get into the Avengers off the back of that.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
A big and frequent smile (that statement makes me sound a bit simple).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I read lots of sci-fi war novels which is the literary equivalent of sugary desserts but throw in the odd classic for nutritional purposes :)

Movie is impossible to pin down as if you ask me that on any given day and you'll get a different answer. Candidates would be 9th company, Wall-e, cars (anything by Pixar in fact, those films are way too good for kids), Aliens, Total Recall (the old one), Pulp Fiction, Akira, Star Trek 2 (the old one, again), Predator, Fight Club, Top Gun, Empire Strikes Back, The Matrix (I liked the sequels), Dead Mans Shoes, This is England, The Longest Day, Lord of the Rings, Anchorman, You Only Live Twice, Appleseed, Blackhawk Down, Ghost in the shell, Monty Pythons Holy Grail, Shaun of the Dead, Scott Pilgrim, Hot Fuzz, Serenity, Dark Knight,, majority of the Marvel films.

TV wise, mostly HBO (how are they hitting it out of the park so often?) such as the wire, game of thrones, band of brothers. And Walking dead, of course!

Music wise I love variety and am always open to new stuff but my favourite songs are often rock and electronica. The Prodigy have a special place in my heart.

Food wise, variety- anything and everything! Perhaps Mexican or Indian would be my favourite, maybe dim sum or good carvery.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Mechanised transport
Radio 4
Fresh air
Plutonium (to keep my time machine running)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I guess I think about;
How various machines and mechanisms work.
Who has set up systems in our lives and are the outcomes tailored to their vested interests?
Will there ever be a boy born who can swim faster than a shark?
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Most often preparing for some outdoors antics on the weekend.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I've quite possibly done a terrible job of describing myself

If you are easy going, geeky, smart, inquisitive or adventurous I'd love to hear from you. Let's go do something fun!

.....or alternatively you can message me if you are looking to start some form of revolutionary peoples paramilitary. Probably the wrong sort of site for this sort of thing though.....
