My self-summary
NOTE: I love my girlfriend so I don't want to give any erroneous ideas. I'm just keeping this profile as a keepsake.

Also, I don't have much freetime.
I'm sure you're all lovely people, but I won't be responding to any emails anymore. Even friend requests.

----

I'm a palatable peanut-preying, pasta-partaking, pretentiously preposterous and pedantic, propitious plus prosperous, passably peachy person ponder-precipitated into presence.

Here's a friend's description of me.
"physically:
formidable, manly, classic and rugged. You have the classic male body shape, broad and angular, lean. your looks are classic, too - i thnk you'd fit in well in the 50s. some fellows today are all cheekbones and fishlips and you're more of a lad's lad.
personally:
quiet, sensitive, smart. not quite a nerd / geek, but close."
I'd say it's pretty accurate. Only i am a geek.

Also I've travelled quite a bit. London, Paris, Munich, Bern, Interlocken, Rome, Vatican city, Most of Ireland and Northern Ireland, New York City, San Francisco, San Antonio to name a few.

I'm a pretty mellow guy. I'm bad at introducing myself and breaking the ice with people. I'm looking for someone that could equally be a lover and a close friend. An interest in video games or other geek cultures would definitely be a plus, though not required.
What I’m doing with my life
Working as a level designer (video games) at an amazingly fun company. There is nothing (career-wise) i'd rather be doing at this point in my life. I consider myself preposterously fortunate when it has comes to my professional life.

Beyond my professional life, not much, which is something I'm not happy with and i'm trying very hard to change. I think i've gotten too used to routine. Trying to meet new friends and try things i never thought i would before.
I’m really good at
video games, pool, legos, sleeping (i am an awesome sleeper), world history, writing, and stuff. I used to write a lot of short stories but i would usually get an idea for another story and get side tracked. I think i would be a good co-writer, but more for hobby then anything else.
The first things people usually notice about me
i used to get complimented on my blue eyes a lot before i wore glasses, not so much anymore though. also, my forehead is HUGE. isn't it? i mean look at it. it's gargantuan!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books:
Green Eggs and Ham (it changed my life). honestly i don't read much. I like a few comics, like The Maxx, the Walking Dead, and a few Jhonen Vasquez comics.

Movies:
Donnie Darko. Shawshank Redemption, Big Lebowski, Fight Club, Stand by Me, the Nightmare Before Christmas, Office Space, Big Fish, and Shawn of the Dead. Anything Pixar.

TV shows:
futurama, invader zim, BSG (the newer one), Scrubs, Venture Bros, Doctor Who, Arrested Development. Lately I've been watching an absurd amount of QI (Quite Interesting, with Stephen Fry) on youtube.

Music:
I like all kinds of melodic sounds, from Speed metal (DragonForce) to classical, and indie alternative (Cake) to your typical sappy sentimental love song. Don't judge me by what music i listen to. I love music, but dont define myself by the noises i like.
I enjoy The Eels, and the fact the singer's late father was the one that first conceived the Many-World Interpretation of quantum mechanics is pretty interesting too. I love Queen, the Beatles, Beck, the Cars, Boston. Recently i've become fond of Florence and the Machine, also Mumford & Sons.
I also love a lot of one hit wonders. I find it very fascinating that a band can tap into greatness, but just once, and probably by accident. There's something beautiful about that.

Foods:
Steak, Pizza, pastas especially Farfalle (I'd like to think that it's making a conscious decision to look formal before being eaten), bison burgers, deer burgers, hamburgers (made out of beef, not ham...just realised it's weird they're called hamburgers. Should be beef burgers; has the bonus of alliteration)
I'm always teased by my chums for my picky and non-exotic eating habits.
The six things I could never do without
my family, my friends, my job, lots of sleep...that's all i really need. that and some snugglin' and lovin'
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what i really want out of life. Still have no idea really..
On a typical Friday night I am
As most of my friends are busy on fridays, I usually just relax and plan the weekend. When my chums are around, lately we've been playing pinball for the night. Pinball is lot more fun than i remembered.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a mild case of CDO. It's like OCD, but the letters are in alphabetical order, AS THEY SHOULD BE.

Kidding aside, I love stockings on women. So hot. Particularly if they're striped for some reason.

One more thing: I tend to have trouble displaying interest in the dating phase (does not apply in relationship). Maybe I'm old fashioned, maybe I have trust issues, I'm not even sure, but this tends to get me friend-zoned an awful lot. Patience, or even better, assertiveness in your interest would be greatly appreciated.
