My self-summary
I'm what most would call a nerd. I work in the gaming industry though, so it works out for me. I can be shy at first, but I open up to people rather quickly. I have a quirky sense humor and an eclectic knowledge base.

It's important to note that I am polyamorous , pansexual, kinky, and not likely to change any of those aspects.

ENFP for those that follow such things.

Another quick note, you can find me on fetlife as TheDapperFapper.
What I’m doing with my life
I think I'm in the best years of my life. I just got out of an abusive 10 year relationship. Have met some of the most fantastic people lately, and life is starting to be fun. I'm also perpetually trying to get back into shape, learn about myself, and see if I'm funny enough to be a decent performer.

Recently I've been working on recording for a series of Let's Play videos on a youtube channel. Search Dashuu Dave on YouTube to find them! As well as self educating in the field of web development.
I’m really good at
Video games, getting people I don't know to laugh, mixing drinks I don't know the names of, telling people their best features, writing, typing, manual dexterity, filling out online questionnaires, and various things I'm likely not covering.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes, or so they say. Once I get to talking, most people tend to tell me I'm either funny or strange within a few minutes. I've also had people comment on my dimples, though I doubt it's the first thing they noticed. Oh, and colorful hair. They notice the hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Most anything by Terry Pratchett. I enjoy Michael Crichton as well. I have a very all encompassing taste in movies and music. The only genre of music I don't enjoy most of the time would be country. Otherwise I can listen to anything from smooth jazz to death metal. Techno to classical. I've been particularly enjoying Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality lately.
The six things I could never do without
Well, should we avoid the obvious? Oxygen, solid ground, plant life, and the like? Six things I would really rather never go without:
- Friends. That one's almost obvious.
- A comfortable place to sleep.
- Other people. Being able to socialize is a must.
- The Internet. I don't need it when I'm camping or getting away but otherwise I want it around.
- Fresh air. I'm one of those people who has a fan running even in winter. I just like fresh air.
- Security. I feel like I shouldn't have to explain this one.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Everything! I over think. I can't help it. I think about the universe, the methods used for baking, how to produce gummi, the science behind a webcam, the designing methods for a sports drink label. It doesn't have to be important. If it can be thought about, it will be. That's not to say there aren't things I don't think of, or will rarely consider. It's just that my mind runs a game of it's own and I'm along for the ride.
On a typical Friday night I am
Laying back, relaxing either at my house or a different one. Maybe waiting in line for a party, event, or movie. Might be out at a bar with some friends discussing zombie apocalypse plans over a few beers and/or a joint.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes, I watch FRIENDS and I laugh.
You should message me if
You like my answers to any of the thousands of questions found on this site. If you're a nerd who loves video games. If you're not a nerd that loves video games. If you're interested in talking about ancient roman poetry, history, or philosophy. If you want yet another answer to the ultimate questions of the universe. If you lost a bet. If you won a bet. If you want to laugh. If you want to get to know me a little bit better. If you need an ego boost. If you're feeling adventurous. If you're feeling shy.
