I moved to the New Orleans area a few months ago an I am loving it. The music is great, the food is amazing, and the people are (generally) awesome. I truly feel like I belong here, which is a first for me.
Before this I was in Knoxville, Tennessee. I worked there as a stage technician in a music venue, which was pretty fun. Aside from that there was nothing really going on there.
Previously I lived in Baltimore. I went to the Maryland Institute College of Art and just stayed. I had a great family of friends there but after 9 years it got pretty stale. I still enjoy visiting though.
I love the outdoors (when I have time to enjoy it). I camp as often as I can, and have a pair of kayaks which see a lot of use in the warmer months.
Here in New Orleans I am enjoying all the live music and rich night life. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and having new experiences.

As far as music is concerned, I like some music in almost all genres. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Purity Ring, and Fair to Midland. I've been electronically producing music in my home studio as well.
