Hello! I just moved to Tampa, having spent the last year in China.
Before that, I lived in Taiwan for 5 years.
I love biking,
hiking, camping and all sorts of
outdoor activities. Activity-wise, I also like running and tennis and recently got into yoga.
I really enjoy writing and reading. I used to read mainly fiction,
but lately I've also been reading a lot of non-fiction. I like to
sing and play guitar, mainly
rock and folk. I love to travel, and I love photography.
I consider myself Buddhist, and try my best to live with
honesty, mindfulness and compassion. I respect people who live by
their values, and I certainly don't expect folks to have the same
values as I do.

What I'm doing with my life
I'm currently working as the technology coordinator for a
university ESL program. I like my job, as it blends computer stuff
with teaching. I especially like teaching classes that incorporate
environmental issues and activism.
I've also been doing a lot of writing recently and am interested in trying to get something published in the (relatively) near future.
I've spent a lot of time living overseas and think about doing that again from time to time. I'm particularly interested in Asia and Eastern Europe, but I could probably be talked into going anywhere.

I'm really good at
Well, I suppose I'm a pretty good teacher. And I can sing pretty
well. I hope that I'm a good writer, but it's tough for me to work
up the nerve to show stuff to other folks, so who knows. I've taken
some pretty nice photos, but that's not so much as skill as it is a
willingness to take lots of pictures. :)
