I was the youngest in the family -- youngest of 3 with two older sisters. So I grew up watching romantic comedies, because the youngest never gets the remote. I can only assume that I would be an NFL star by now had I been given the opportunity to watch more manly television, but instead I got Meg Ryan.

The people I fall for are the unexpected: the ones who throw me off, challenge me, annoy me, make me want to be better and do better. I'm a sucker for witty banter, romantic gestures, intellectual debates, spontaneous trips... This is what too many romantic comedies will do to you.

By day, I alternate between programming for a Silicon Valley technology company and trying to find work as a musical theater pianist. I play the piano a lot, I sing a little, I try to jog in the mornings but don't always make it out the door. I love good restaurants, enjoy the occasional drunken night with friends out dancing, and would never pass up a night of Indian delivery and a good movie from NetFlix.
