I’m probably best described as Dave-ish.
People say that, so I guess that makes me my own sort of person, yay for me?
They have also said I’m nice, funny, smart, quirky, creative and awesome.
I like to think that they're right, but who knows?
I’m a bit of an artist.
I’m a bit of a geek and nerd.
Ok, maybe more than a bit on those things.
I take a fairly philosophical view on life, I like to think about the possibilities, the cause and effect of things, and how it shapes who we are as people. That includes me. I try to better myself and be a good person, no matter what else I may be doing.
I like to make and create things, hence being an artist and spending four years at the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD). Although lately I find my acts of creation fall sort of into crafts or building over direct art, but as long as I’m enjoying it, I’m fine with that.
My current project is a documentary on Nerd Culture.
Games, Movies, Art, Armchair Philosophy, reading, drawing, making things, and stuff
I tend to have a unique point of view on things, which is a good thing, I like to check things from many angles, and sometimes this makes me play devil’s advocate because I believe any idea should be argued fairly. And its kinda fun to debate with a keen mind.
I also enjoy being goofy, or have fun with an oft odd sense of humour. This mixes with both my creative side and my nerdy side.
I tend to have unique viewpoint; it’s something I enjoy.
Mixed with a love of making and creating it leads to a lot of artistic endevours. Adding that with a pleasure in the act of creation, making and designing things, well that leads to my passions.
What can I say, Im a natural.
This is good, as I has always prided myself on not being consumed by flame.
Glasses and humor came in as leading alternatives.
Not the most enlightened of choices I admit, but its an honest answer, and always good for a laugh, ALWAYS.
My favorite movies, hard to narrow down, lets go with:
The 5th Element a fun movie with a unique and interesting visuals.
MallRats or Empire Records, 2 movies that helped shaped my sense of humor when I was younger.
I might pop on Akira to the list because I havent seen anything else quite like it.
I could be working, relaxing at home, out with friends. Its random.
I write stories for a LARP.
If you went through all the trouble of reading my profile, the least you can do is drop a line and say hello.
Besides, I like a girl with inititive.
