My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi, I'm Dave and I'll start by stating that I am not like most guys, and I pride myself on that. So instead of making a laundry list of how confident, funny, romantic, sweet, motivated, smart, and sexy I am (which, by the way, I am all of the above...did I mention confident?) I would like to share with you some things about me that I think will better describe who I really am.

I live for music and use my iPod to put a soundtrack to my life. I'm a serious concert junkie and see between 4-6 live shows a month. I love to dance, so much so that you will often find me dancing around my apartment, on the subway, or just grooving as I walk down the street. I feel most relaxed when I'm cooking (mostly intricate food...a definite foodie) and get incredible enjoyment from making food for other people. As a die hard animal lover, the addition of Cooper (my Jack Russell pup) has brought truth to the phrase mans best friend. I make my bed every morning and try to keep everything neat. I am well aware of how incredibly fortunate my life has been and as such I believe it is important to take time (and I don't mean the time it takes to just write a check) to help those who haven't been afforded the same opportunities that I have. I am a true kid at heart and love to be silly. As such, I don't embarrass easily and believe that confidence is in your ability to laugh at yourself. I have an uncanny ability to talk to strangers in the most unlikely situations and love to hear about everyone's life story. In line with that, I am also the guy you see helping people carry their heavy luggage through the airport as well as being the first person to give up my seat on the subway. I strive for adventure, constantly seeking to learn new things and see new places. I have a passion for cars and love to drive. I am one of those few people who actually looks forward to going to the gym, and would much rather be doing something active than just lounging around. That being said, it's hard to beat being snuggled up on the couch with someone to watch a movie.

What am I looking for? Well I won't lie and tell you that physical attraction doesn't matter, because it does. But, physical chemistry will only take us so far. I am looking for that person that I can share anything with, knowing that no matter what, she will always be by my side. She should also have extremely close friend and family ties, and should put them above and before everything else. She should be active, physically fit, and enjoy spending time outdoors. I would like a girl who can appreciate the finer things in life, but doesn't make her life all about the finer things. To this point, adaptivity is key. She should not be someone who thinks "roughing it" is sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag or going two days with out make up and a hair dryer. A girl who isn't afraid to get her hands dirty from time to time, but also appreciates a good manicure when the occasion calls for it. Above all else, she should be confident in herself, open to commitment if the situation presents itself, and honest in everything she does.

Now, I realize that there aren't too many girls on here who take the initiative to make the first contact, but if there is any part of you that thinks we would hit it off, don't hesitate and drop me a line. We have everything to gain, and nothing to lose.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I live for entrepreneurship and love working in a start-up environment.

I recently launched a benevolent sock company called Bombas (, which can simply be described as the TOMS or Warby Parker of the sock game.

Bee Better.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
- Making friends
- Snowboarding
- Remembering and reciting (with correct timing and tone) stand-up even freaks me out sometimes
- Dancing (this white boy can dance)
- Cooking
- Conversation (strange to list it but it is a talent)
- Business
- Racing (cars)
- Back massages (don't get any ideas, I don't give them out all willy nilly!)
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
is how comfortable I am meeting new people.

If it's physical, I guess the fact that I have a shaved head and am 6'1" would probably stand out.

The thing I hope they would notice is my eyes...I think they rock and I don't even get to see them that often (mirror for those of you who we're quick to the draw). They change colors, no lie.

Thanks to living in NYC where new restaurants open daily, Spotify where I hunt for new music on the reg, Netflix, HBO, and Showtime for producing incredibly shows, this list is never ending and always changing.

I have very diverse tastes for it all so chances are we have a lot in common here.

I do watch a lot of documentaries. There are so many fascinating things out in this world to learn about.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Assuming my friends, family, and dog are a given:

- Dance (only true dancers or performers understand this)
- Snowboarding
- Music (Live and recorded. I live on Spotify)
- Driving
- Food (primarily cooking)
- Work (I know, it's strange but I love working)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What business I wil start next.

That and the universe. Space fascinates me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hmmm Fridays are usually my chill night after a long week, but I can always be convinced to go out (did someone say SouthSide?)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm confident in the things I like despite how society would judge me for it. The list includes:

- yoga
- eating vegetarian (though I'm no where close to a vegetarian but occasional eat it to stay healthy. That and I happen to just love vegetables)
- love stories (aka The Notebook)
- Justin Beiber (kid is incredibly talented, no one can deny that)
- Having a passion for dance
- I use emoticons :(
