I'm pretty awesome. I'm a huge geek which involves playing different sorts of board games, RPGs and sometimes video games (mostly super nintendo), reading, watching movies and using the internet.

I like to dance and consequently I like dance music which I DJ from time to time.

I also enjoy photography but I'm currently on a break since I don't have any inspiration.

I live in downtown Toronto which I find to be very convenient.

I am curious and inquisitive and I'm looking to have some good conversations and meet some interesting people.

I'm happy to be making a life for myself in Toronto. I've got a great job that pays the bills (HR consultant) and it leaves me a lot of time to pursue other interests. A few times a year throw some great parties in Toronto. I find it very rewarding to give even just one person the night of their life. My next event is on May 9 at the Big Bop.

I'm good at whatever I'm interested in. I tend to switch hobbies and foci every few months. I find that I if devote myself to whatever I'm interested in I'll learn more. Taking a break helps me to go back with a fresh look.

I have a funny sense of humour.

Books:

I tend to like non-fiction books (mostly about religion (or lack thereof) or science) but I'll read a good sci-fi or fantasy book every now and then. I grew up on Piers Anthony and Tolkien.

I'm a big Star Trek: TNG fan. I also like My Name is Earl, Boston Legal, Arrested Development, Sealab 2021, The Venture Brothers, and various atheist and skeptic shows and podcasts.

I also tend to like shows that routinely break the fourth wall.

Music:

I like to dance and music is usually required. UK Hardcore, breaks, hardcore breaks, Euro, and others including Luna-C and The Prodigy or pretty much anything with pianos in it.

I grew up on the Red Hot Chili Peppers and later the Barenaked Ladies and The Presidents of the United States of America.

More recently I like The Streets, The Postal Service and Lily Allen.

I'm always trying to find new music to listen to, if you've got some good suggestions send them my way.

Food:

I'm vegan which means I don't eat meat or dairy products. I don't think I eat weird food, though I'm open to trying different things.

I don't cook for myself very often but I love to make pasta for guests. Baking cookies is always a good plan.

I would like to think that I could do without everything that I have. I suppose I would be distraught if I lost my records. I use the internet a lot too, I like to check it at least once a day.

Playing board games.

Sometimes I go out too. I'm not big on bars since I don't drink. I'll go out if the music and atmosphere will be conducive to fun and dancing though.
