I am Happy, Warm, and Hopeful.

My Self-Summary

About Me:
A Michigan boy... for nearly 30 years. I watched my beloved home state fall part. I have moved to California recently and am enjoying the weather, healthy foods and friends that I have here. I am always looking to add more friends. If you want to know what I am all about - please enjoy reading the following lengthy dissertation. Why do we ask the question if we don’t want to hear the answer? That statement is not profoundly deep, but it surmises our world way too accurately. Look up the lyrics to The “Seeker” by the Who. Listen to Billy Joel’s “My Life.” What happened to trying to better ourselves!? Why don’t we question more? Why don’t we stand up for people and ourselves!? Have we really lost our edge? There is such a big world out there and you can either spend your life looking from the inside out… or you can explore, learn, SEEK. There is bad luck in the world, but if you let it linger, if you hold on to it, it will not leave you. I believe that anger is like a virus and you have to let it run its course, let the fever break – and then heal thyself. How many people dropped off at this point?

What I’m doing with my life

I work for an internet start up that I helped start way back in October of 2006. I truly believe in what we are doing and would gladly share it with you. While I am not working -- I am trying to learn new things. In being in SF for just over 2 years I have learned so much about food, healthy eating and how to cook. I also have learned that food can be healthy and delicious. I always love showing off my skills...

I’m really good at

Writing, basketball, and trivia. (sadly these are three things not earning me a living)... I love music also, so I will challenge anyone to a round of "Name that Tune"

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes and smile.... but once people start talking to me, I think they notice a warmth and a very bizarre but consistent sense of humor. Hmmm, i just realized that describing your sense of humor as consistent is not very funny... let's just say - I bet I can always make you laugh.

Wishful Thinking

I spend a lot of time thinking about

The meaning of life... why are we here? Also... why don't people want to create a better world. How is there still war? How is it that gay people can't get married? Why aren't people seeing happiness and a great world -- rather than get bogged down in politics and thinking OLD thoughts. Again... why are we here? What is this ALL about?

On a typical Friday night I am

Hanging with friends.
Enjoying some wine...
Watching a new movie... or listening to live music.
Relaxing after a long week of work...

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I am not like anyone you will ever meet -- and to some that is welcome and to others it just doesn't work...

You should message me if

You want to change the world... think deep thoughts, feel deep things and laugh until you cry.
