If I were to describe myself, I would say that I am a shy, quiet, easy going and reserved person. I would like to think that I am intelligent and I believe that I am kind hearted and a gentleman. I am loyal and honest and believe that I have a good sense of humour. I don't smoke and I don't drink. I don't mind if others around me are drinking, but would prefer if they didn't try to get me to drink.
I'm not into going to clubs, but I'm not against going to a bar or pub as long as it's not too noisy and I can have a conversation. My preference, however, would be to have a quiet night at home and watch a movie or some television.
I enjoy playing my guitar. My style is mostly rock and metal and quite heavily influenced by my musical tastes. I will listen to just about anything except maybe dance music. My main musical taste lies in the heavy metal and rock areas. My favourite artists are Joe Satriani, Metallica and the Barenaked Ladies.
I also quite enjoy cooking. I don't have a favourite type of food to cook and will try most things.
I tend to do a fair amount of cycling. I also recently rook up running and started going to the gym.
My current (career) goals involve starting a PhD in physics and becoming a research / experimental physicist before maybe moving on to lecturing at a university. I am currently in the last few months of my second masters degree at Glasgow University.
My other (life) goal is to find someone with whom I could happily spend the rest of my life.
