My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just got to Phoenix! I'm exploring a new city and working a new job.

Relentless asker of the question "why?" I think many stop asking that as they grow up. Pursuing those answers have shaped my entire life. I constantly question the nature of things.

My life is basically work, live music, the gym, and all the things in between. I'm also developing a nasty Latin dance habit. I read nonfiction all day for my job, which is great, since I like learning new things. I'm also a displaced outdoorsman, and while I have done a little exploring up north, I'm excited for the weather to cool down so I can get to know the Phoenix desert a bit more.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a music journalist, which means I listen to a lot of bands (some awful, some great, most forgettable and mediocre) and think a lot about the nature of art and music and expression and what it means to be a music maker or consumer in the Internet age.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening. Analyzing. Laughing. Smiling. Cuddling. Ravishing. Playing. Cooking. Appreciating.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes, my smile, my attitude. I honestly have no idea.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Politics, life, music, art, moving on up. Whether I want to drop everything work-related and dedicate myself entirely to making art or whether to drop everything art-related and devote myself entirely to work.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Compensating for the fact I just spent 50 hours working.

I rarely drive steamboats, dad. Quit pretending I'm some kind of steamboat operator! (http://youtu.be/L8yP_3ZEMdg?t=10m16s)

I absolutely love sci-fi, fantasy books and comics. Don't judge.
