Laid-back Bay Area native, Graduated from SJSU in 2008 in Business/Marketing and currently pursuing my dreams of Entrepreneurship by starting candy company with my sister! Very close with my family (obviously!). I enjoy just about all kinds of music, so I'm generally up for anything live (even if I don't know the bands) and though it's not often, if I happen to find myself at a club I'll dance my face off. :P

After college, I spent a few years doing Product Management for a high-tech company...which made me crazy. ;) After some careful planning and a little luck, I had the opportunity to take some time off and pursue a more meaningful endeavor. I like to stay in shape since fitness has been a huge part of my life (I began teaching martial arts at 12), and I love snowboarding when the season allows, but I also spend quite a bit of time lounging around the house in one of my various sets of comfy/pj pants! :P Other hobbies: I like to play guitar, write/draw... I love movies and watching several episodes of a TV show at once... I like cool hats :)

Books: A Song of Ice and Fire (aka Game of Thrones series), Fool, Ender's Game, The Program, Love & Death... read a lot of legalese, non-fiction and other stuff that isn't that great at the moment :P

Movies: Lots! But where to start? I love the nerdy standards like Superhero movies and Star Wars/Star Trek. The Fifth Element is one of my favorite Sci-Fi's of all time. I love action like the Die Hard series and Taken, both realistic and outrageous Kung Fu movies (Ip Man / Man with the Iron Fists) as well as thriller/suspense movies, but not so much into straight gore style horror (Yes to Silence of the Lambs and Paranormal Activity, NO on Hostel). I love all kinds of comedies, be they pure, action, or romantically-oriented! :P Super Troopers, Old School, 21 Jump Street, Your Highness, Hitch, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Grandma's Boy; classics like Spaceballs, Men in Tights and Monty Python...

TV: Game of Thrones, New Girl, Go On, Boardwalk Empire, The League, The Daily Show, Wipeout,

Sports: Niners, Giants, and Sharks, oh my! (Sadface for hockey season anyone?)

Music: I like almost anything, even moreso if it's live - went to several shows over the summer, mostly rock/reggae (Cypress Hill, Pepper, and Sublime was killer) but also some Electronica (No hard drugs for me, I just like to dance to it!)

Food: I'll eat just about anything, but my favorites are always the secret hole-in-the-wall authentic places (Mexican, Thai, Indian, etc) or any restaurant that does really good breakfast (preferably all day!). I love coffee, and my favorite drink would probably have to be a nice glass of Pinot Noir. :)
