My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I live in a house in the woods with some cats and a couple of pieces of furniture too.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work in a library. Distributing literature sounds more fun though.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh, or at least smirk.
Forgetting I'm not 5 years old and becoming fascinated with slight things.
Foot massages, apparently.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Is that I'm early. It's a compulsion. But not nearly as bad as it used to be. I relish being on time, and secretly adore being late.

My mustache. If its around. (currently in season)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I love cinema (obviously, right? I call it cinema...oy), and am probably considered a bit of a snob aside from the occasional guilty pleasure, and if you ask I'll ramble on and on about this and that, but if I put a few of my favorites here, I'd have to change it tomorrow - and the next day - and the next, blahblahblah.

TV is something I always bawk at, and then realize I watch a decent amount. My favorite shows I think are Mad Men, The Daily Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and I used to love X-Files as a kid. I wanted to be Mulder. I still think about becomming a profiler for the FBI sometimes. I marathoned Twin Peaks - and wondered how much hell/fun it would be to have to wait week to week to figure out what the hell David Lynch was up to. I was raised on Seinfeld. This means I am keen on snarky sarcasm.

Music for me is even harder to judge - but it's easier to list a few things that rotate in my head: The Tallest Man on Earth, Bob Dylan, The Replacements, Cat Stevens, Fleet Foxes, Broken Social Scene, The Arcade Fire, M83, Jeremy Jay, Nina Simone, Otis Redding, Belle and Sebastian, New Order

Books! Books? My favorite book is Zen and the Art of the Motorcycle Maintenance. Richard Brautigan is a favorite author of mine and NOT just because his name is fun to say. I also dig Woody Allen's short stories (I read ALL of them on a train from Holland to Sweden after gobbling them up impulsively at a used book store. They used to belong to a fellow named Runcl Klop according to the front jackets, and he had excellent penmanship).
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
People, things to read, conversations to have, places to go, birdsong, the woods.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Olden times (I studied history)
How I kinda sorta wanna go back to Sweden
Sex. Right? Right. ...Sex.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I would hate if I actually had an answer for this.

I come across as slightly cognizant, interesting, and to your liking. Especially that last bit.

Or if you too like the word cognizant. God that's a nice word. Safari too. And gauche. I literally jumped up with joy the other day when I realized, that after knowing someone for over a year now, gauche was the perfect way to describe them (endearingly of course!)
