My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hello, I have a lot of interests that I'm pretty into and I always love learning new things. I guess you could say I'm a nerd.

I see myself as pretty simple. As much as I love learning, affection and kindness has done more for me than any line of text or painting so I'd like to meet somebody who feels the same.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a teacher's aide working with 1st graders, training to become a real teacher. I love it since they always say or do something that cracks me up. Next year, I should be certified and going for my masters.

Generally: just trying to improve myself in some way everyday. Usually trying to read or watch something new. Currently trying to teach myself how to play a ukulele.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
reciting rap songs most people forgot about. (holla)
getting lost in the city.
high five's.
and cooking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

This list is too long since one of my majors was lit, but I really liked Renaissance and Victorian books. Outside of that, last thing I finished was Murakami's Kafka on the Shore.

Truth be told though, most of what I read these days are the books I'm reading out-loud to the kids. I've since realized that my bookcase is seriously lacking Roald Dahl.

I love all types , but my favorites are anything horror or animated. Older foreign movies too, like Tarkovsky or Fellini.

Breaking Bad, Sherlock, Wilfred, Dexter, Twin Peaks, Gravity Falls, Regular Show, Evangelion, Rick and Morty, Adventure time, and pretty much anything 90's.

I have a special soft spot for ambience and contemporary classic. Sometimes it's indie stuff like Beirut, Sufjan Stevens, and Sigur Ros, and sometimes it's hip hop and RnB like Drake , Nujabes, Wu-Tang Clan and such. Also jazz, swing, and bossa nova. Also also, everything pop. Not even embarrassed about it.

Coffee. Because of how much I drink, I've been likened to Agent Cooper from Twin Peaks, except I'm not an agent and my name's not Cooper.

That aside, I'm not picky. If I'm not trying a new recipe, I'm just as likely to try a new place in the city.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Funny faces
Milk for my coffee and tea
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Bulldogs. The squished in faces are adorable and their snores are the most oddly relaxing thing to me. Same thing goes for pugs. Dogs in general. I wonder, what do they think about? Do they think in "wuffs" like we think in English?

I ask only the hard hitting questions if you couldn't tell.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out at the cluuuuub! Except not really. I'm a homebody who likes quiet nights in watching movies and playing videogames with friends or fam. I think the last time I was out at something big and social I ended up looking like this:

If I'm not home, I'm probably meeting up with a friend in the city. Maybe going to a museum or trying a new place to eat at.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm the kind of person who'll go into the bathroom intending to brush my teeth, only to spend a good half hour making funny faces in front of the mirror.

Also, I shot the sheriff, but I swear I didn't shoot the deputy. Who shot that guy anyways? And what about the guy in Reno? Gosh, this world is so violent.
