My self-summary
Guitars and noise makers, hookahs and craft beer, bookshelf of unread books and a broke camera, and the fashion sense of a cartoon character. I think I can come off intimidating unless you know me, or have already gotten to know me beyond a casual meeting (so I'm told), so I think this self-summary written by myself might be counter-productive.
What I’m doing with my life
I work two pretty cool jobs and I play guitar.
The first things people usually notice about me
Beard and rat-tail.

On Valentine's Day about 6 guys complimented me on wearing a Joy Division shirt, so I guess that's some highly noticeable thing to put.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Things and stuff ranging from Jungian psychology and dream theory to European mythology and religion. Though I don't read as much anymore.

The Power of Myth; The Hero with a Thousand Faces - Campbell, Walden - Thoreau, The Antichrist - Nietzsche, The Myth of Sisyphus - Camus, I Am a Strange Loop - Hofstadter, Siddhartha - Hesse, etc.

The Wicker Man (1973); The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly; Gattaca; Faust (1994); Hanna. Trailer Park Boys; Breaking Bad; Game of Thrones. Some movies this past year I thought were pretty awesome: 12 Years a Slave, Prisoners, Nebraska, Her, The World's End, Pain & Gain...

Death in June, The Smiths, King Dude, Current 93, Cult of Youth, Julian Cope, Joy Division, Lou Reed, Godflesh, Swans, etc. Neofolk, industrial, anarcho-punk, UK82, alt-country, goth/deathrock, post-metal, stoner metal, black metal, neoclassical, film scores, hip-hop, rap, etc.

Operator of Power Acoustics and Death in June in June.
The six things I could never do without
Obscure English punk demos from 77-89
Instruments of various kinds
The decade plus I skateboarded
Visual aids because I'm fucking blind
Rajput Indian Cuisine
Life enhancing books
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"Does this sound good?" (In reference to my own music.)

"..."
On a typical Friday night I am
Working or drinking.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I chucked a grapefruit (or something) at the grill of this minivan while was making a left turn at a busy intersection somewhere in Kentucky, or maybe West Virginia, or somewhere like Wisconsin, I don't fucking know, but I was on a trip and the fruit had to go, so I chucked (which is the best descriptor for this) it out the fucking window with no regret or remorse and it hit their grill and exploded like a god damn fruit bomb and I carried on driving like a boss, but that old couple was not.

Unpopular opinion:
The Beatles are overrated.
Doctor Who is overrated.
The Beat writers are overrated.
NBC/ABC sitcoms are overrated.
Quality production in music is overrated.

This is my third account on here.
