I am loquacious, audacious, and having fun with this.

My Self-Summary

I've actually made people fall out of chairs from laughter. I play rugby and kickball, I play keyboard in a rock band, and I just started a Hebrew class. I've climbed Kilimanjaro and lived in London. I have diverse interests.
I have a lot of friends.
I'm open to a serious relationship. I'm not trying to date as many women as possible until I'm 40.

What I’m doing with my life

I recently founded a startup software company. It's a lot of work but very exciting. I'm more interested in building something useful and making the most of my skills than making money. But money is good, too.

I’m really good at

Throwing parties.
Telling stories.
Kissing.
Cookouts.
Problem solving.
Kickball.
Writing songs.

The first things people usually notice about me

My dry wit.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

This category is perfect for me because to me books, movies, music and food are all basically the same thing. That causes frequent problems, like when I tried to chew on the screen during Slumdog Millionaire, or when I kept attaching headphones to my copy of Infinite Jest.
My favorite book is The Chuang Tzu, a collection of 2000 year old Taoist stories that explore philosophical questions such as how to live naturally in a modern world, and the limits of what can be known.
My favorite food is whatever I'm cooking (and maybe yours will be, too.)
I love music deeply, and nothing beats live shows. Seeing George Clinton in New Orleans was the best show I've been to.
My favorite painter is Vermeer.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to make my company successful.
What band/party/restaurant/event/class/bar/park/museum to check out this week.
How the mind works.
How to make the most of my life and help others.
Whether I should throw another party.
Where to get lunch.

On a typical Friday night I am

At a house party in Brooklyn.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I once saved a drowning infant from an icy river. That infant? A young Barack Obama.

You should message me if
