My self-summary
I'm equal parts Leslie Knope, Fox Mulder, and Chandler Bing. Stephen Colbert is probably my favorite person in the world.

I'm a journalism student (or something), stumbling through life.

I use travel and concerts as mutual excuses.

I mostly wish it was still the mid-90s and behave accordingly.

I'm a frustrated drummer (apartment living is really not conducive to that whole thing).

ENFJ
What I’m doing with my life
Part-time student, full-time music geek - and sometimes an intern, because apparently that's a thing that everyone has to do now.

On a mission to see the world in the most haphazard, inefficient, adventurous way possible. Seeing live shows like it's my job, because I wish it was (current 2014 tally: 21).
I’m really good at
Staying up for 24 hours or more. Memorizing song lyrics and singing them, loudly, in said car, karaoke-style. Making references to 30 Rock and explaining them to people who haven't seen the show, because everyone really should watch it at least once. Not taking the subway.
The first things people usually notice about me
Normally I would say something along the lines of, "That depends on the person!" or "Might as well ask them!"

But it's my hair. It is ALWAYS my hair.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: L.A. Confidential, The Black Dahlia, or anything James Ellroy. Helter Skelter (for the case and Bugliosi's brilliant legal arguments). The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao. A Clockwork Orange. Lord of the Flies. A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius. The Lovely Bones. Everybody Loves Our Town: The Oral History of Grunge. Please Kill Me: The Uncensored History of Punk.

Movies: The Blues Brothers, Anchorman, A Clockwork Orange, There Will Be Blood, Pulp Fiction, American Beauty, Bridesmaids, Reality Bites, Foo Fighters: Back and Forth, PJ20. Anything directed by Kubrick or Luhrmann....except maybe Australia.

TV: Friends, 30 Rock, The X-Files, Parks and Recreation, Mad Men, Portlandia, The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Saturday Night Live.

A list of music that is in no way complete and in no particular order: Green Day, Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Mudhoney, Love Battery, Larry and His Flask, Sound City Players, Alice in Chains, Alkaline Trio, Beastie Boys, The Beatles, The Black Keys, Bob Mould, Bon Iver, Buzzcocks, Centro-matic, The Clash, Cloud Nothings, David Bowie, The Distillers, Eagles of Death Metal, Eddie Vedder, Elliott Smith, Foxboro Hottubs, Frank Turner, The Frustrators, John Fogerty, John Mayer, The Marked Men, Meat Puppets, The Methadones, Mother Love Bone, The Pixies, Ramones, Screaming Trees, Sex Pistols, Silversun Pickups, Sleeper Agent, So So Glos, Soundgarden, Spinnerette, Stone Temple Pilots, Temple of the Dog, Them Crooked Vultures, Titus Andronicus, Wavves.....
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where to travel next, how to plot out a tour between concert dates, how to get from point A to point B....
On a typical Friday night I am
At a show/bar/show in a bar.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm on this website. That's pretty much it.
