My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Greetings, I moved to Eugene in the winter of 2005 from Kansas and must say I love it here. I enjoy going hiking, and spending time in and around nature, I especially love the mountains. I have a black tiger-stripe cat named Loner who has chosen me as his human.

I'm fairly easy-going and open minded. Given enough reason and/or evidence almost any of my beliefs or practices can be changed. The only rule that isn't up for debate and will not change concerns lies and the truth. The easiest way to say this is simply, the truth I can forgive, lies I cannot. That is to say, as much as the truth may hurt or upset me, eventually I will get over it.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am currently going to school at LCC majoring in Computer Networking Operations. While I work on that degree I hope to also work on the Computer Network Security certificate that is offered. What I wish to achieve with this is to help not only major corporations, but also home PC users, to maintain the security of their computers.

In my "off" time, I build/repair computers and networks for a reasonable price, and craft affordable leather products.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Typically when it comes to computers there isn't much I can't do. While I specialize at the moment in computer hardware I also know a thing or two about security.

Another aspect of computers that I am good at is playing games, however it goes deeper than just playing. Due to my meticulous nature I've found that I'm very good at discovering programming bugs within games.

While most of the time I don't see it, I am told that I am very good at crafting items out of leather. So far I've made various different pieces of armour, from breastplates to bracers that protect the arms. For a friend I'm currently in the process of crafting a full suit of armour.

Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I have to say my favorite authors would be David Eddings and Terry Goodkind. I first began reading Eddings in high school after first getting into Piers Anthony. While Anthony's Xanth series was entertaining, it lacked the depth of a story that I thrive on. I found what I was looking for the first moment I picked up Pawn of Prophecy. I felt as though I actually knew Garion, what was going threw his mind as Aunt Pol was scolding him for stealing things out of her kitchen.

As for Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series, I like how much detail he put into everything. So far there is only one book, Confessor, that I haven't been able to peruse the pages of, however that will be remedied soon enough.

As for movies, my favorites include the new Hulk, Fifth Element, Boondock Saints, the X-Men trilogy, Princess Bride, Laborinth, and Harry Potter. I am up for watching just about anything.

When it comes to music I typically listen to Metal, including such bands as Falkenbach, early Metallica, Sudakra, Oakhelm, some Behemoth, and Nile. I also enjoy bagpipes and various Celtic style music as well as some classical.

Food is a complicated, yet at the same time simple topic. I'll eat almost anything except for Tofu and Chocolate. While both do very bad things to me I can't stand the taste of tofu, but I do love chocolate.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Family, friends, my cat, knowledge, entertainment, and intelligent conversation.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Loop quantum gravity, M-theory, quantum computing, 3d modeling, leatherwork....just because I think about some of these things a lot doesn't necessarily mean that I fully understand the concepts, hence why I think about them a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I'm usually either spending time with friends/family, watching a movie, going for walks, or just generally chilling around the house, and sometime working on homework.
