What am I doing here? Well, I recently reached the end of a 5 year marriage. It ended due to some serious mental health issues that I should have seen coming when we were dating. I could tell you all about it if you are curious but, it tends to gloomy subject. So, I have few regrets about getting into the marriage, and no regrets about its end.

This leaves me at this point a single father and the primary caregiver for 3 young children. It is a lot of work, but overall I am very happy with my life.

It has been fantastic being able to get out and meet some new people. My social life for the last few years has been far to insular. Time to change all that. I am eager to make some new friends, spend some time out of the house on occasion and see where life takes me. Perhaps it will take me in the direction of a new relationship. Perhaps it won't for a while. Either way, I am enjoying the ride.

Four things occupy much of my time right now, my job as a network engineer, and my three children. I love my job and I love my kids even more; however, they certainly keep me busy. Despite the work, I am pretty happy with my life.

I am also trying to save the world on the side. I don't know if you've noticed the effects yet. It always seems like I have more work to do in this task. Still, I do what I can.

I am also exercising an hour or so each day. It keeps my stress level low and it is getting me into the shape that I always wanted to be in. I'll tell you all about it if that is your bag.

Well, as a ninja, I try to avoid notice. If I am noticed I will have to run up a wall, perform a triple back flip, disappear in midair only to reappear behind the unlucky person who noticed me and snap their neck killing them instantly.

That or my eyes. Could be either one.

My favorite books are All Quiet on the Western Front, The Age of Spiritual Machines, The Elegant Universe, Ender's Game, Waiting for Godot (ok, so it is not really a book), and most fantasy novels I come across.

For movies I enjoy The Big Lebowski, Three Kings, Twelve Monkeys, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, and Borat among others.

My favorite music falls into three categories: trip hop, hard rock, and old school hip hop. I love almost anything that is live and loud, though.

I spend a strange amount of time calculating the odds of things happening. To me it's like taking taking the back panel off of the world and seeing how it all works.

I also spend a lot of time thinking about peace, social justice and how to make the world a better place.

I am probably either playing with my kids or playing on my computer. I haven't gotten out much lately but, that is what I am here to change, isn't it?

I've eaten pizza out of the garbage on multiple occasions. I don't regret it.

Seriously, you'd probably at least be amused by my responses and you will always get some sort of response from me. If anyone is willing to take the time to send me a message, I can take the time to send a response.
