I'm vagabonding, which means I'm mostly living out of my car and tent camping along the way. I'm not a hobo, just playing the part of one. So ya, that's the deal.
Obviously this means I'm not exactly available to "date." I am, however, super interested in meeting up with people along the way. I'm always looking for connections, especially if the kind of trek I'm on sounds at all romantic to you. But I'm interested in all kinds of potential connections, not just intimate ones. That is, if you have the interest. I'm also happy to explain what is motivating my current journey if you're curious. Bonus points if you could see yourself doing this sort of thing too.
Okay, anyway, now that that is out of the way, here's some more about me:
My interests include the arts, especially writing, music, and filmmaking, but I'm also a science and nature buff. I'm introverted at heart, but outgoing when it comes to my passion for travel and adventure.
I have a Master's in Philosophy, and am intensely intellectual and politically active (liberal environmentalist), though my spirit is more creative than analytical. I have a very laid back demeanor, but get passionate when conversations turn intellectual. I'm very independent-minded.
I'm also extremely non-materialistic, which is convenient because I tend to move around a lot. In other words, I like to keep things light enough for travel. "Home" has shifted for me quite a bit over the years. I grew up in California (Bay Area), and have since lived in places as varied as Arizona, New York, Texas, Oregon, Hawaii, and Queensland (Australia). I return to the Bay Area, CA and the Pacific Northwest (Portland) most frequently, as family lives in the former and my heart belongs in the latter. Needless to say, though, I have the wanderlust. "Home" is more of an adjective than a noun.
If you're into the whole Myer-Briggs thing, I'm INXP.
