My Self-Summary
I'm a fairly down-to-earth guy with a life that is anything but
ordinary. I grew up as an expatriate in 5 different countries,
ended up back in the US for college and took off for Europe as soon
as I finished, in search of some long-lost identity. I spent 6
years working throughout Europe as a management consultant and only
recently came back to the US, looking for new adventures on this
side of the puddle. Obviously I love to travel and do so every
chance I get, although at the moment, I wouldn't mind a sting in
Houston. I've been working in Mexico for the last 7 months (Monday
to Thursday), which has been great, but quite exhausting. Of course
I can't complain, because, who gets to spend 7 months working on
the beach?
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a management consultant and have been doing so for close to 7
years now. I spent the first 6 years of my career working all over
Europe and have been back in the US for about a year, although
traveling to Mexico fairly regularly for work (and an occasional
weekend here and there ;-) I love my job and hopefully will be able
to climb up the corporate ladder at the same pace I have till now.
There may be some further schooling in my near future, but that is
yet to be seen!
I’m really good at
Everything? J/K! Hmmm, probably not crocheting and definitely a
horrible cook. Some people say I'm a bad driver, but we've agreed
to disagree! I'm fairly funny, although I can't tell jokes. I'm a
great traveler, a good friend, give great hugs and good at being a
guy's guy and a girl's guy all at the same time!
The first things people usually notice about me
My knees... hahahaha, that'd be weird! Um, I don't know... I think
I'm just noticeable all around... I have a fairly loud voice, big
brown eyes and spiky hair (which unfortunately goes all
Dragonball-Z on me if it doesn't get cut every 3 weeks)!
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
Ummm, I don't read a lot of books outside of work, but I recently
read 'I hope they serve beer in hell' and loved it... although the
movie sucked. Favorite movies? I'm a sucker for chick flicks, but
honestly any movie with a few laughs and a happy ending I can live
with. Food? I love sushi and Thai food! Music, well I listen to
everything, but my Ipod consists of mostly electronic music...
which is pretty normal in Europe! ;-)
The six things I could never do without
My brother (and parents), traveling, "the guys", Sundays,
intelligent conversation, coffee (specially on Mondays), girls!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Nothing in particular... My brain runs a 100 miles a minute, so
thinking of anything for too long is unlikely... ;-)
On a typical Friday night I am
Going to an after work happy hour and seeing where it takes me!
Hopefully ending up at a bar with a group of friends for some
conversation and one too many shots... :-)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I'd pretty much admit anything... got nothing to hide! Let's see, I
sleep in the nude, I wear a headband to the gym, I don't know...
just ask me!
