My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
ME? Creative. Dreamy. Analytic. Empathetic. Aware. Convicted enough to use adjectives like this about myself.

Happy to interact with people who are different to me - life is interesting, but dull when driven by narcissism and needing to "belong" only through mirror images. Except for right-wing people. You can all get fucked. By someone else.

To be honest, I don't hang out with gay men much - at all - and generally find them far too willing to make a life out of their trauma. I like being kind to myself. And I also like being kind to others. I'm grateful I have this emotional capacity. I'm not perfect, but I try to be the best I can be, and constantly evolve.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I left Sydney and the advertising scene just over a year ago, and moved to quieter Newcastle where i've been working in communications for the university. I'm also very active in projects outside of work though, and DJ most weeks at the local clubs here.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Empathising - understanding - being able to transcend my subjectivity and see someone else's, even if I don't agree with it. I also make a great nachos.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Going off what people say to me, that I'm really tall. And that I have HELLO blue eyes. Then there are all the things they don't have the guts to say to me, I suppose.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

MOVIES: David Lynch is God. Period. But if I want to laugh, I'll turn to Christopher Guest. Alternatively, if I wanna hate the world, I'll turn to Lars Von Trier.

MUSIC: At the end of the day, I really just love anything from any genre that makes me FEEL. Today, I have been listening to Beach House. I'm devastated that Tim left Midlake. I'm happy Goldfrapp's new album isn't electropop shit. I wish more people knew how good Marissa Nadler is. But I also like to dance occasionally to driving tech, mostly from Germany.

BOOKS: Anything in the non-fiction section. I love culture and history. But I also love philosophy, sociology and psychology. Sartre is another one of my Gods. Freud is always a fabulous read.

FOOD: Mexican. Except now the hipsters like it. Fucking hipsters.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music... film... compassion... my cats... rollercoasters... and, um... nachos.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I spend a lot of time thinking. About lots of things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I wish the whole world were on OK Cupid, so I could look at their questionaires and filter out people who want to be cut during sex or who think everyone should own a gun.
