My self-summary
Graduated a few years back with my B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Moved from east coast to west coast... and I think found my calling... got my M.Ed. recently and am now a Math Teacher, a job which I absolutely love.

I guess I'm pretty easy going... my students ask me "Don't you ever get mad?" Mostly the answer is no.

I love seeing all the amazing things that can be done with patience, and persistence.

I have a few hobbies... and try to stay in good shape. I really enjoy hiking, sailing, reading books, cooking, climbing, and finding things that make me laugh.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
the widespread odd beliefs of our culture and species when it comes to self and art and time

Also, can anybody explain to me why all painters seem to put their work inside rectangular boxes... then on the walls at museums.... seriously what is with the uniformly rectangular shaped paintings.... I thought these guys were creative... I mean just what the hell is going on here? Am I the only one that has a huge problem with this?
On a typical Friday night I am
grading papers :)

maybe playing basketball... maybe sailing to watch the sunset out on the bay (i'm a sailing instructor so i'm out there a lot)

or cooking myself a nice dinner at home and watching a movie
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm 30 years old and still haven't given up on the idea that I can grab the world by the tail... that somehow the most important contributions I have still yet to give
