I'm Ryan. I'm kinda shy at first but warm me up and I'll be telling bad jokes and throwing around deep ideas. Music is life for me, literally. I worked for myself at a recording studio for almost 4 straight years. I made tons of full lengths and demos for local songwriters and bands. It's pretty easy to record but it's difficult to listen to the same song over and over again. I have also been in and out of quite a few bands, all of them I loved and miss still. I have a deep appreciation for life and compassion. Everyday I want to make the world a better place even if it is in the smallest way possible. I do believe knowledge is key to life, so I'm a big reader, movie buff, and into learning anything in any form. To stop learning is like to stop living.

I'm back in school at UNCA for music and trying to adjust to moving to Asheville. I've always been one to strive after a dream and never quit. I figure if I die trying now then I won't die wondering how life could have turned out.

Being creative. Whether its making a joke, silly perception, a short story, a weird invention or even a song. My mind just likes to race. I love just sitting down and writing a song on guitar or mixing together music and creating new tones and sounds. I also love cooking too. Making up new meals and dishes. I have no problem spending all day cooking. Just creating rocks.

Going out to a show and drinking. Staying at home, cooking a new meal and drinking. Going home to visit my folks and drinking or going out to a bar in Asheville and drinking. Studying at home and not drinking.

I dance in my underwear to really bad pop music. I'd admit anything, honest and an open mind are some of the most attractive things in a person.
