I just finished law school, and am floating around waiting to take
the bar and become an actual attorney. I love meeting new people
and learning from their experiences. I tend to be a bit zany and
energetic, but I have no trouble spending a mellow evening watching
movies. I love
discourse and will often become
excited by simple conversations. I am sincere and honest and have
been told that I am a very sweet person. I tend to be social and
shy at the same time.
My friends are extremely important to me, and I am a firm believer
in
bros
before hoes.
I also really like playing board games including
Risk and
Diplomacy and I am fond of
Monopoly and
Scrabble. I like to keep
busy. Currently, I'm taking singing lessons, hip-hop dance classes,
and refereeing soccer for K-6. I am currently knitting the scarf
from Dr. Who.
I’m a very spiritual person. I’m also annoyed by “spiritual”
people. So, I’ll tell you how I’m distinguished from what I think
is the typical “spiritual” person: I like organized religion. I
like congregations, I like group prayer, I like tradition and I
like liturgy. Go figure. I was converting to Orthodox Judaism, but
after three years of that, I just had too many issues with it.
Kierkegaard is a wonderful man, and I think so many things have
worked in just the right way that I would be foolish at this point
to be unconvinced. My friend
daemion186 probably gave me the single
most convincing argument I've heard. I think I'll stick it in a
journal entry. I am currently reading lots of
Kierkegaard and
G.K.
Chesterton, and wish I could invent a time machine to travel
back and propose marriage to either of them.
As far as my career interests, I am highly interested in
education laws and
the legal, social, and moral ramifications of various policies. I
love science and the law, and will maybe mix those in a career in
public health policy. Who knows?
I love new people and new perspectives. I love to
question myself, and will often
question others. Please don’t be offended. I’m just curious, but
sometimes, I come across as harsh. Sorry. I'm also quite sensitive
and am usually the first one to cry in a movie. I'm dependable and
tenacious and once I find a friend, I stick. I am an INTP and a
blue who is also very green and orange.
So, someone once asked me what I have to offer. There used to be a
list here, but, I think it was far too revealing.
I recently signed up for singing lessons, a hip-hop dance class,
and to teach middle school aged children in Sunday school. I'm
enjoying discovering the context in which I live.

Debating, reading, talking...crocheting? Not spelling.
My hair. It's red. And pretty. It has been called magic hair.
And there never was an apple, in Adam's opinion, that wasn't worth
the trouble you got into from eating it.

You want to hear a hello from a girl who loves to meet new
people.
A short description of the people to whom I gravitate:
Intelligent, playful, open minded, kind, and trustworthy,
dependable, and outside the norm.
I want someone who has similar desires to mine: someone who is
looking for answers, someone who wants to help others, someone who
wants to explore the wonders the world still has to offer. I don't
do well with cynics.
