My self-summary
Hello, I am Robert. A semi-professional living in Delray. I say semi-professional, because I do not want to understate my kid at heart attributes.

Someone asked me what I meant when I told them I was looking for an equal, I explained and they recommended that I post the reply to my profile so here it is, what I think of, when I think of an equal:

"Someone who considers themselves my equal. Who will not just unload every decision, big and small, on me. Someone who is not waiting for me to go ahead and do what they think is best, knowing that their judgement is sound and that I trust it. Someone who initiates intimacy of their own accord. Someone who is not afraid to disagree with me on anything I say and is willing to stand their ground in a debate, knowing that I am not judging them just evaluating the merits of their argument. Someone who believes in themselves and does not rely on my belief in them for their self worth. Things along these lines." -Me
What I’m doing with my life
I am saving the world, not like a super hero or anything, just one recycled plastic bottle at a time. I work for a recycling company, we buy your old garbage and help it get turned into things like hangers and storage bins.
I’m really good at
Talking. Listening to music. Watching T.V. and making people laugh.
The first things people usually notice about me
I have never run a survey, so I am going to say how funny I am. The beard gets a lot of attention as well, since signing up I did run a survey and the beard won.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
My Kindle is like an appendage so I read a lot, too much to have favorites. This goes for most media, but let me try to just name two or three I like of each:

Books: Stranger in a Strange Land, Catch-22, Slaughterhouse-5, Ender's Game, American Gods

Movies: Almost Famous, Godfather I & II, Star Wars(IV,V,VI), The new Batman Movies, Casablanca, Inglorious Bastards, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, Hard Boiled, The Usual Suspects, and the list goes on.

Music: Pink Floyd, Coltrane, Davis, Grateful Dead, Phish, Perpetual Groove, Pretty Lights, Bon Iver, Paul Simon, The Beatles, Bright Light Social Hour, almost any Funk, and more and more and more.

Food: Just put it in my mouth.
The six things I could never do without
A/C (as long as I live in FL)

Not sure this is the list they were looking for...
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What music I should listen to next. Same thing with movies and books. Finish one and then all of a sudden there is all this intrinsic pressure to pick the next thing.

Why I match so highly with vegans and vegetarians? I mean I am a pure carnivore, not that I mind, you ladies almost always look fantastic. It is just funny to me I suppose.

Why does the site put people who are hundreds of miles away in my activity feed? I feel like a dope when I see a great profile only to sigh when I notice they are in Timbuktu.
On a typical Friday night I am
Seeing live music, on a date, out with friends, home with wine and a movie.

Doing something deviant or otherwise out of the norms of society.

Basically trying to enjoy a little bit of life sandwiched between the tedium of work and adulthood.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
On my profile, nothing, ask me a question and get an answer. I have nothing to hide, I just don't advertise on the internet.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 27–42
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For long-term dating, short-term dating
You should message me if
You want to laugh and make a sincere new friend, but not just a friend.
You have time to date and have a relationship. Not if you think you have time or maybe have time. I'm not demanding about how much time I need at all, but if you can't figure out an hour or two a week, then you don't have time.
You like beards.
You like music, seriously like it.
You drink whiskey and message me now if you take it neat or rocks.
You like guys who do yoga.
