I am bubbly, crazy, and adventursome.

My Self-Summary

I'm 25, I'm on my way to becoming a horse trainer, it's my dream job. Recently ended a serious relationship, so I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, just to meet some cool people, and take my mind off of painful things, just being honest. I love the rest of my life, have 3 dogs, a spoiled little boston terrier, and 2 little boston/something mixes as well as 2 cats. I love to travel and experience different places (I've lived all over- Seattle, Paris, St. Louis, Northern Virginia, West Virginia, etc), though I know that at somepoint I want to settle down in the wilderness somewhere (well somewhere that I can still work with horses)

What I’m doing with my life

I'm going to be a horse-trainer, and hopefully work with horse rescue and rehabilitation in the future. Right now I am finishing up my last 4 months of school in west virginia. After that I'm not really sure where I'm going, I'm looking at a couple of positions up in Washington State, Idaho, other parts of the Northwest, but I may also end up back around the Northern Virgina area for a while if I can get a good position there.

I’m really good at

empathizing with people and animals, remembering useless facts/trivia while not being able to find my keys/cellphone/shoes/you name it. Telling stories about my various adventures.

The first things people usually notice about me

Mohawk ( or whatever unusual, bright colored thing is going on with my hair at the moment). or my tattoos, if I'm lucky someone notices my awsome vertical industrial. or how cool or dirty I look, I either look awsome in a punk/artsy/hippyish way or I look like a dirty starving artist -paint splattered boy shorts and a wifebeater, in the winter add a paint splattered hoodie- just being honest. though I guess I will have to clean my act up and TRY and look well semi-respectable at least for the professional world.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

a) I read a lot-probably too much, lots of non-fiction about animals horse training, homesteading, being self-suffiecient/how to survive the end of the world, farming, science, the envirionment, love old school sci-fi, have a soft spot in my heart for silly vampire novels and other fnatasy fluff, palaniuk and gaimen are my favorite modern fiction authors, love classics.
b) ok there are a lot of movies I love but this takes a long time, so here are a few all time fav's

The Last Unicorn, SNL Best of Christopher Walken, The Princess Bride, , MirrorMask, Hedwig and the Angry Inch
Little Miss Sunshine (seriously this movie is my life and my family, but so hilarious)

Also I think everyone should watch what the bleep do we know- I have the special extended 6 hr edition
I also feel that TV series are and important thing here... so here goes, Joss Whedon is my god, well maybe not so far as that but Firefly, and Buffy are awsome, and even Angel I like, though Firefly is soo good. though I do also like Dr. Who and I admit it I occaisionally enjoy watching Highlander, that cheesiest of all cheese! but the hair! and come on where did that sword come from?!? Like silly crime dramas on tv (think Bones or Castle or Monk) love Burn Notice (but that might have soemthing to do with Bruce Campbell) & 30 Rock

c) Music- well I am pretty musically challenged- mostly my friends find cool music and I listen, that said I listen to a pretty big variety of music but my favorite types are definatly Punk and Ska, but I love Regge, Classical, Rock(Classic and contemporary), Jazz, French Music, Musicals, Opera ( I admit it, I have a weird obsession with Wager's Ring Cycle - it was my FAVORITE thing to watch when I was a kid) really a lot, someday I will come put bands and favorite songs, but that takes so long.

d) food- The more exotic the better, though I could live off of Mexican food everyday and never get bored. other favorites are Thai, Indian, Afghani, Greek, and of course Italian

The six things I could never do without

Not neccessarily in any order (except for #1)
1. Rosie (my spoiled little Boston Terrier)
2.access to horses/nature/ the great out of doors ( I wilt in cities)
3.my books
4. good friends and family
5. something to paint, draw, doodle, build, create with
6. My cell phone ( not really because i make so many phone calls, but it is my phone, organizer, address book, calander, watch, alarm clock, etc so I am kinda lost without it)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

to tell you the truth, I'm just a tad bit ADD, so I don't really know, but there are some great one liner's i've said sitting around the house on post-it notes.

On a typical Friday night I am

Probably at home watching a Movie or reading a book cuddled with the puppies, quite possibly asleep, let's face it when you spend at least 12 hours a day outside working with horses your exhausted by friday night, I think the one time I did go out I was ready to come back by 11!

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I Share my bed with three dogs and a cat!

You should message me if

you like animals, like weird smart stuff, cause If we ever hang out I may end up going on for hours about medieval patriarchal inheritance systems( I was a medival studies/art history major before I went crazy and quit school to be a horse-trainer), or I might make fart jokes and watch family guy while running around jumping up and down like a baboon( maybe not the baboon part)...you just never know!
