My self-summary Propose an edit
I am a simple country gentleman of forty or so winters past with an
interest in meeting some new people. I am creative and confusing
all at the same time. Hobbies are mostly down the RPG line (that’s
Pen, Paper and Dice RPG's like D&D, NOT Computer stuff-been
doing the paper/dice thing for 30 odd years now). kinda on a
Heroscape kick
right now, great boardgame. i also enjoy hiking out in the refuge when time and
willing partner permit, some sports (usually whatever my kids are
playing), anything with animals and playing cards with friends. My
screen name comes from a line from a kids film, The Emperors New
Groove! Fun film.
I am married for
gosh, over 20 years now (i don't suppose any of you can tell me how
to change my profile tag from "available" to "married" can you?) to
a loving woman with 3 wonderful kids (2 older teenage boys and a 5
year old girl). what else can i say about that? wonderful. my wife
knows i have an account on here (she has one herself: bbwDalincat69). we have
no secrets. keeping the secrets away is part of what has helped
keep our marrage good.
I'm originally (born and raised) from the Cleveland (Ohio) area
(Medina actually), so i'm a BROWNS fan (and a Gladiators fan now
that Cleveland has an AFL team)! Ohio State also rocks! not into a
lot of sports, but i do enjoy playing racketball with my youngest
son and i enjoy any sport my older son is playing (he's a football
kicker and a soccer goalie).
I came to this site for reasons for which i am still unsure. Any of
you have a clue? Let me know will you. I will update this profile
as time goes on, but feel free to ask me any question. I do give
honest answers (just be prepared for an honest answer, i don’t
dance around much).
if i visited your page, but didn't send you an e'mail, please don't
take offense. i never know what to say to people. afraid i'm going
to sound silly or like a "pick up artist," so i just don't say
anything. i know, it's silly, but that's me. i have found that by
looking at what tests others have taken, i can really find some
intersting ones myself. so looking at profiles is really kinda
fun.
Anyway, have a funny day...
What I'm doing with my life Propose an edit
trying to raise my boys to be honerable men, which is no easy chore
given todays society. still, i think i've been successful, and
raising my daughter to be a ninja warrior so she can someday
climb the steps of Mt. Midoriyama (at least that's what she want's
to be right now).
I'm really good at Propose an edit
throwing people for a loop. i tend to have a confusing way of
looking at the universe, so be ready. my classic example is "what's
one plus one? eleven."
The first thing(s) people usually notice about me Propose an edit
wow, i'm not sure. i've never looked through someone else's eyes at
me. hang on, i'll ask a friend real quick:::
:::she said she noticed my lips first. never heard that one
before.
usually it's my voice i think people notice. i'm a bit of a talker,
and i love to work with my voice. change it up/accents/etc. i just
have fun.
i guess people notice that i'm out of shape. actually, i am in
shape. round is a shape, and i am round (almost), so i am in shape.
ha haa haaa. i do manage to put a lot of shoe leather down when i
go hiking up at the lake. hard to believe a big guy like me can get
around out there, but i do.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food Propose an edit
well, my favorite movie is "The Court Jester" with Danny Kaye,
Glynis Johns, Basil Rathbone, Angela Lansbury and Cecil Parker
VestaVision, 1956. fun musical comedy with a Robin Hood flavor.
after that, it drops down to what i'm in the mood for (right now
it's classic John Wayne). i love science fiction (Star Trek, Stargate, Babylon 5, Firefly, BBC's Primeval etc), but i'm not to big on
horror. get scared to easily (yes, i'm a big coward). i also love
classic sci fi TV (like SPACE: 1999 or UFO) and movies (such as Forbidden Planet
or THEM!). i also
find myself walking around singing the music to Dr.
Horrible's Sing Along Blog. awsome stuff. anybody watch Graham
Norton?
as for music, i listen to everything from Bond (know who they are?) to Meatloaf. 70's and 80's
stuff mostly.
food? yes! i eat food. too much at times. i'm your basic meat and
potato's guy, but i do love most pasta. actually, i could go for
some lasagna right now.
i'm not a big reader in the grand scope of things. in my free time
i tend to read informative books, not fiction. text books,
dictionaries, news articles, history magazines, that sort of thing.
usually i'm a little busy reading the various game books that fill
my RPG hobby.
The six things I could never do without Propose an edit
Compassion. Honor. Family. Trust. Gaming. Fun.
not a good list? ok, how about:
Ice Cream, Laughter, Good Music, Fresh Air, Snuggly Hugs &
Sleeping In On Saturdays.
sex should also be somewhere in that list (after all, i am a guy).
i guess maybe i should list that within the "sleeping in..." part.
I spend a lot of time thinking about Propose an edit
Beware The Groove...
...and does anybody actually read these profiles.
...and what am i going to make for dinner.
...and is anyone ever going to read any of my online
journals.
...and what do you do with an elephant with three balls? walk him
and pitch to the rhino.
...why people think i'm "evil" when i'm really just "morally
challenged."
On a typical Friday night I am Propose an edit
usually at home with my friends gaming (RPG's) or off watching my
son at some sporting event (usually football-he's a kicker!). when
time and schedule permit, i like to head out to the mountains and
hike. love to hike and talk with friends. great for the spirit.
The most private thing I'm willing to admit here Propose an edit
ok, can you keep a secret? both my wife and i are...
(circle one)
A) ...Not Really Married.
B) ...Bisexual.
C) ...Republicans.
D) ...Secretly involved in a UFO coverup of an incident that
occured in 1988 just outside of the town of Rock Plains, Ill.
E) ...All of the above.
You should message me if Propose an edit
the wild idea hits you. simple enough. got a question? any
question? make one up (please)! i may not have an answer, but ask
away.
you can message me if you want to go hiking (anybody?), or learn
about gaming, or make a friend. i love to answer messages, tend to
write in paragraph format, so expect longwinded stuff.
