My self-summary
Well hello. I am a unique, eclectic type of person. I am a filmmaker and have made several movies and that's really what I want to do with my life.

I confess I'm kind of a nerd, I love Tolkien, horror movies, Godzilla, good anime, WWII history but they aren't the focal point of my identity and are just things that bring me pleasure. And I'm not some fedora-wearing My Little Pony loving weirdo.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now I am in post-production with my newest movie which I just finished shooting after two years. I am really working hard to make my dream of making films professionally a reality. I strongly believe I am getting there and I had some successes, a short I made was in a film festival and I made a documentary about a Chinese director and he praised the movie. In addition in my shorts, documentary and feature, I have three screenplays I've written and finished early drafts of. Ask me more about this stuff I'm doing, I'll be happy to tell you more.

In the meantime, I'm working on making music videos and taping live performances for musicians. I currently work on Christian-themed music videos for money. It's kind of funny because I'm not religious, but it's work.
I’m really good at
Being creative I think. I am also very motivated and tenacious and can get projects finished. People also say I'm a good writer. I have written nearly a thousand pages of screenplay in the last five years.
The first things people usually notice about me
That I'm energetic and unique.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Catcher in the Rye, Voltaire's Candide, Moby Dick, J.R.R. Tolkien, writings by Thomas Paine, Steven Pressfield's The War of Art, art books, manga and WW2 books. I have to confess I'm not the biggest fiction reader for pleasure and I mostly read non-fiction for information.

Movies: I love too many films to list really. My favorite genres are horror, sci-fi, war, black comedy and animated stuff. Some of my favorite films and directors are Kubrick, The End of Evangelion, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Dawn of the Dead (original), The Breakfast Club, Star Wars original trilogy, assorted Godzilla movies, The Dark Knight trilogy, Tarantino, Kurosawa, Werner Herzog, Miyazaki, Battle of Okinawa and many more.

Shows: Neon Genesis Evangelion, South Park, Star Trek, Lost in Space. I need to check out Game of Thrones.

Music: I like more specific songs rather than specific bands, but I do love especially classical: Bach, Beethoven, Handel, Mozart, Vivaldi, Verdi, Schubert, Debussy and others. I also am fond of music from the 70s and 80s and J-Pop especially from the 80s and early 90s.

Food: I love Asian food especially sushi and Chinese (especially real Chinese, not the General Gao's stuff), pizza, Italian, Indian.
The six things I could never do without
Internet access (in this day and age)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Creative ideas. Also, the future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing anything that strikes my fancy. There's a bar I particularly like to hang out at near Fenway Park, that said.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I am on a weight loss regimen.
