A lot about my life has changed just recently, so if you have seen my profile before, it might be worth looking at again.
The longest relationship I have ever been in was just ended in a very upsetting way. My girlfriend of almost 4 years left because she wanted children. I dislike children. I had a vasectomy the day I turned 21. I am sterile and will never have children. She told me for almost 4 years that she did not want children. Then suddenly she does. Very upsetting. I put this in my summary not out of bitterness or to get sympathy but to emphasize that if you have children or think you may want children someday I AM NOT FOR YOU. Even if you just want something short term, I do not want to risk falling in love with someone that I am so fundamentally incompatible with.
I'm a big fan of advice columnist Dan Savage. If you want a good idea of what kind of relationship I'm looking for, check into Savage's description of a "monogamish" relationship. I'm not a fan of sexually monogamy, but I've tried the poly thing and it isn't for me either. I'm looking for a primary partner to love, but we can both occasionally sleep with other people.
I'm a graduate of the University of North Texas. I have a diploma in Theatre Performance and English Creative Writing. Oddly enough, I'm very introverted off stage. I'm not really comfortable being "me" because I'm never sure how to behave. Playing a character, on the other hand, is the easiest thing in the world.
PS. My hair alternates between long and short for theatre purposes. It is quite long now.
