My self-summary
I'm originally from Memphis, TN, but moved to Boulder for my undergrad when I was 18. After I graduated, I moved to New Orleans for a year and half, and then I came to Denver for grad school. I recently finished my masters at DU and live in Capitol Hill. I work in Boulder and have an awesome dog, so between work, commuting, hanging out with the pup, and trying to get some sleep every night, I'm not as into partying or the bar scene as I used to be.

My ADD sometimes means that I am all over the place, so I tend to talk quickly and jump from topic to topic. Other times, I'll read a message, write a reply, and then go to another site without hitting send. I apologize in advance for the aggravation this causes, but I think it also keeps things interesting (I like to think I'm pretty fun).
What I’m doing with my life
I finished my masters at DU in 2013 and now work for a sustainability-focused and energy-efficiency company in Boulder. I am interested in architecture, sustainable design, renewable energy, electronic music, dogs, meeting new people, and exploring the world.
I’m really good at
listening to people, making fun of myself, trivia, being spontaneous, entertaining myself, texting back, running on little to no sleep, spelling, and making friends.
The first things people usually notice about me
is that I'm running five minutes late (but I always feel really bad about it!)

Music: Robyn, Daft Punk, The Killers, Passion Pit

Food: hummus, peanut butter anything, pineapple, lasagna, most breakfast foods, seitan wings, and water or a flat & warm Diet Coke to drink
The six things I could never do without
My dog
Toothbrush
A Nalgene with ice and water
Sunglasses
Peanut butter
Flip flops (summer) or slippers (winter)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
politics, numbers, my dog, the future, my friends and family, places I want to visit, boys, things I want to see, my career, new activities to check out, and interesting things to do with friends.
On a typical Friday night I am
trying something for the first time, going to a new restaurant with friends, making random plans, seeing a movie, traveling to see family or friends, exploring Colorado with my dog, camping, getting ready to go skiing, meeting up with people, cooking, or having people over.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
sometimes I'm afraid of live music and trying new food.
