Well my name is Derek! I'm 23 and am ambitious engineering student; I am transferring to Western Michigan University College Of Engineering in Fall 2013.

A little about me! I find the Cosmos extremely fascinating! I could honestly stare at the stars all night doing some deep thinking! I love cooking, trying new foods, traveling, exercising,listening to music,and just having fun! I enjoy spending time outdoors doing things such as mountain biking and kayaking.

I’d really like to get into some more extreme sports like kite boarding things of that nature, so if you can teach me or are willing to learn with me that’s definitely a bonus! I’ll try anything once. I live my life one day at a time and love to learn new things and create new experiences.

What I'm looking to get from this site is meeting someone to become friends with and see where it goes from there.

I recently just got back from backpacking in Europe. Best experience of my life :)

I have set goals for my future and where I want to go, and am very determined to get there. Im Going to college full time right now .I plan on transferring to Western Michigan or Michigan State and majoring in chemical engineering.
