My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Someone once said " dont try to be a great man, just be a man. and let history make it's own judgement" And if you can name what movie that came from, then we're off to a good start.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I was on active duty in the Army as a medic for five years, I spent one tour in Iraq, and am now in the Indiana National Guard. Most of the time these days I'm a college student, or working on a book. I'll finish up an associates degree in the fall.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I enjoy writing science fiction, and hope to make a few noteworthy contributions to the genre. I have a series of books published on Amazon called The Thin Line of Life. Lately I've been looking into seeing all that life has to offer, reading poetry, going to gun ranges, going for walks downtown.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm funny and can make a whole room full of people laugh.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I grew up in a comic book store, so I'm a big fan of geek culture, comic books, science fiction movies and books.

I love Doctor Who and just discovered a show called Caprica. I think I had a huge smile when i found out there was going to be a fourth season of Arrested Development.

I think my second favorite movie is Crazy Stupid Love, because it has so many layers to it. On the surface of the movie its a simple ensemble love story, but when i watch it again i pick up the great subtext.
Of course my favorite movie is Rocky 6, cause its awesome.

Edgar Allen Poe is one of my favorite writers. If you deconstruct the Raven, the plot itself is just a guy who misses his wife chasing a bird around his house. A lot of what he writes is style over substance, but oh my god what style it is. His words are like a fine gourmet meal, where the whole experience is based on the taste of the words and not the story. His words are like discovering food for the first time. I cant read them enough.

I'm not really a sports guy. My dad had the sports card shop in the 90's, so i have a general knowledge of sports teams, but really its not my bag.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My dog
2. Sweet, sweet Netflix. Oh, how i love thee.
3. Sense of humor
4. My car
5. my kindle
6. my awesome downtown apartment.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Writing, and ways I can improve on my life.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Either dressed up fancy on the town or watching a good movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I shower naked.

I would like to be in a relationship. I know modern dating theory states that you should pretend you want everything to be casual, and not be TOO into someone, but forget that noise. Take it slow, of course, don't go too fast. But a relationship is what I would like.

A great first date would be laser tag, or going to the movies, or maybe coffee somewhere.

You have a job or are in school.

You have a car.

You don't have a cat. Sorry, but after about an hour sitting in a house with a cat I really start to itch. Allergies are fun.

You're fun, into nerdy stuff, and have interesting hobbies.

You're outgoing. I couldn't hang with someone who didn't like to explore.

You want to go to the toy isle in wal mart and have a light saber fight.

You are at least interested in fitness. I'm not the most in shape guy in the world, but i go to the gym three times a week and i'd expect you to do the same, or at least care about your health.
