I am Adventurous, Active, and Energetic.

My Self-Summary

Well, ok. Originally from California, moved out to the desert to get away and firgure out life. Haven't looked back. I love it here. The weather, the people i've met, the proximity to mountains. That being said, i've considered moving out and away, see the world. I guess it all depends. I'm pretty happy here right now.
I'm pretty active and I think I take pretty good care of myself. From working out, to snowboarding, to bicycling, hiking. Been thinking about getting back into skydiving, maybe after the winter. I'm a bit of a adrenaline junkie.

What I’m doing with my life

Recently bought a house that was a bit of a, well, 1970's-fabulous and when i'm not working at my day job, or spending time with my friends, i'm fixing up my house... or procrastinating something. Finally, though i'm almost finished. Been playing my guitar a lot lately, I'm still not very good but it's fun and keeps me distracted from the work I should be completing.

I’m really good at

Writing software, acquiring hobbies and procrastinating.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

I'm hesitant to say this but, truthfully? Technical manuals. that and audio books. Few things to help you fall asleep besides technical manuals. I like most music, well anything that doesn't suck, which pretty much rules out country right off the bat. :P Live music. Louder the better.

I wish I had the opportunity to read more real books, but between my hobbies and work, I seldom have time for any leisure reading anymore. As favorites go, Anything by Richard Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, 1984, and a whole bunch of technical titles that would make me sound like a nerd. (if those don't already)

The six things I could never do without

Music
my liver,
the internets,
my motorbike,
my idiot friends,
and duct tape.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How to remove this damn chinese finger trap! It's beginning to affect my job and ability to operate a motor vehicle... that and Cheese whiz. Why, oh, why would one want cheese in a can? I have yet to find a good reason. But they sell it in such volume... Hey, anybody want to buy some totally gross food item, like...Ez-Meat in a can?

But seriously, probably what next to build for my house or the chores that i'm avoiding.

On a typical Friday night I am

..either at the bar with my friends, out to dinner, building things in my garage, or hopefully, as the snow starts, road-trippin' to the snow.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I love black olives. eaten 2 cans in 1 sitting once. I have a scar shaped like a cockroach, and had 6 body piercings, 3 of which on my face. (I've since removed them all as they were horribly uncomfortable.)
I'm actually a pretty shy person initially. I ramble a lot when i'm nervous.

You should message me if

Well, why wouldn't you?
