I'm easy going, live and let live attitude. I enjoy humor, laughter is wonderful. I laugh at things even when I'm alone. I'm quiet until I know someone. Being in the spotlight is not necessary for me. I'm the one observing :D I'm tired of being alone, and would love someone in my life who has similar views as mine.

Since I retired, I considered returning to northeastern Illinois - home town. But realized the cost of living is quite a bit higher in the midwest, so staying in AZ is the better financial choice. And my family has a free place to stay when they visit, LOL. Currently looking at my lifestyle and making changes ... get outside more, get more exercise, plan new landscaping around my house, and anything else that pops into my mind.

I would think it's different for everyone I meet. Honestly, I don't know what they notice. I've been told that I'm "nice", I have a great smile, I have pretty hair, so I guess it depends on each person, LOL.

I enjoy reading and some current favorite authors are, Harlan Coben; Barclay Linwood; Catherine Coulter; Patricia Cornwell; and Nora Roberts - love her JD Robb futuristic books! Music is an eclectic mix, good old rock & roll, new country & western, blues, fusion jazz, and classical. I watch TV, more than I should really, but some favorites are NCIS (both), Burn Notice, Leverage, Falling Skies, and Saving Hope. I like most food, which certainly contributes to my current weight problem :-(. I need to be upfront about that, I am working on reducing it.

The way our society is breaking down all around us, and it seems too many people just don't care.

Friday nights are like any other night ... since I retired. Sometimes I spend the evening with friends and play dominoes. Would like to find someone who enjoys going out and doing fun things.
