Ok time to sell myself, but not in the fishnet stocking, arrested for solicitation sort of way...

Let's see, I am a jester, a purveyor of jocularity and sarcasm. An avid reader or bibliophage if you will. A wanderer (15 countries and counting). I love art and movies, being out with friends and quiet nights at home. The hustle and bustle of the world always thrills me, as does the silence that comes on a snowy night or at three am when the world around you sleeps.

My interests are many, and new things catch my eye all the time. I love to learn, and discover. I can be making stuff with clay one day and sewing puppets the next. I like the sweat from a job well done.

Cartoons crack me up, as do my cats. I like to cook, though I can be picky about vegetables. Bike riding for me is pure joy. I like animals and the natural world. Yet the endeavors of humans never cease to amaze.

I abhor I.V.s, bigots and cheaters. Most other things I can work around. I try to be centered and self aware though this is not always easy.

I seek a partner in crime, a co-pilot (or pilot, I'm flexible) for the future. One who is not jaded or stuck in their ways. A free soul who looks at the world with the wisdom of an adult and the wonder of a child. An equal who will challenge me and support me when needed. I seek that rare gem who knows who they are and has a passion in life. I seek in the hopes of finding. I seek....

I am working towards my master's degree. I completed my bachelor's in the summer and am now choosing my program for graduate work. Yes I know, I am an older student but it is never too late to learn. I was delayed due to a decade in the military.

Breathing, I have been doing that for quite some time successfully I might add. I am also known for being very quick with a joke/observational humor. I also know my way around a trumpet. (Random enough for you?)

I am usually with guys, and well, we do not tend to talk about those things lol. I have been told that my eyes are quite noticeable due to the fact that they are an unusual shade of green. That and the fact that I am 6'2" tend to stand out.

Books: Anything by Terry Pratchett. I love his humorous fantasy set in the Discworld.

Movies: I like all sorts, one of my favorite films of all time is, "The Shawshank Redemption".

Music: I listen to most anything (though you will not find a lot of country or rap in my collections but you will still find some) I won't lie though whenever I want to feel pumped Beethoven's Symphony no. 9 never fails to deliver. Gotta love the Ode to Joy.

Food: Not really a food but you will never find me without sugar free gum somewhere on my person.

I am assuming we're not talking about oxygen, food and water here, and without trying to sound too over the top.

3. Joy, this is what makes life worth living.

4. Direction, the ship without a rudder goes nowhere.

5. Passion, (not necessarily the bedroom kind) without it you have no drive.

6. Knowledge, a day where I do not learn something is a wasted day.

Ok that was a bit over the top but that's the joy of late night introspection.

All sorts of things. Seriously my brain bounces all over the place, had I been born later who knows what medications I would have been put on.

Well when I was a private in the Army I...oh, not that kind of private story? Well I am not going to divulge any of my dirty little secrets here, sheesh. (Of course now you have the All American Rejects song in your head, you can admit it)
