Hmm books, well there's the Culture series by Iain Banks which are quite awesome also the Enders Game quintet and also the shadow saga by Orson Scott Card, the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, Ringworld series by Larry Niven, I'm just finished the Robot series by Iasaac Asimov and will be starting the Empire series quite soon

As for tv shows ehhhh Fringe, Breaking Bad, Eureka, Workaholics, Warehouse 13, Alphas, Walking Dead erm drawing a blank oh firefly, farscape, community, doctor who, I'll add more as I think of them
