Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Moved here in mid-February, and in a little less than two months
I've already done better for myself than either of the previous two
cities I've moved to. Operation: Make the Best of It is working so
About me? I'm a total geek, part hippie, part technophile, complete
artist freak in the vein of performance. Hungry for life and hoping
to master and maybe even make a living off the art of storytelling
before I shuffle this mortal coil (which I hope to hold off on for
some decades yet). I occasionally dress up as Hunter S. Thompson
when I go out because, why not?
I'm passionate about story telling and all the different methods
one can do so. I think our society undervalues the art of itself.
In that vein, Jungian Archetypes and The Heroes Journey are damn
solid mainstays, though I'm quite open to shaking it up.
I'm kind of starting my adult life over, new job, new city, but
thankfully there are some good old friends from the AK (by way of
Juneau and Anchorage, let's just say, you Seattle peeps, you don't
really get as much rain as you think you do) which is making all
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Want to see Jasper in Deadland dammit!
Welp, I'm all settled into Shoreline, more or less. Now to work on
my cheap ass recording studio. For what, you might ask? Holy
conversation topic Batman! There are other things I need to do, but
that's next on the list.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
The past couple years I have been flooded with ideas. One is so so
so close to fruition I can almost taste it. It's kind of sweet and
salty, like sea salt and caramel. Don't ask about them if you don't
want to know about them, because there are many, and I love to
ramble once I get started.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My dashing good looks, my mighty forehead, my concentrated awesome
height, if I'm out then I might be in some sort of costume for
science reasons, you tell me.

I love this list, no matter how often I change this profile, this
is the list that will grow. I might condense it some day, but I
kind of like it this way, we'll see which way the wind blows come
Working on Mark Z. Danielewski's "House of Leaves". An amazing
book, and not a light read.
, Jeff VanDermeer
fungal Steam Punk noir, a damn good read if a little odd in it's
fantasy series Codex Alera

Fond of Glen Cook's Black Company
getting through the third omnibus, keep running into distractions
though, been spacing it out with some H.P. Lovecraft

And many many more.
I like a wide variety of movies, I am a movie junkie, not to be
confused with a movie snob, unless it's Will Ferrell or Rob Zombie,
fuck those guys.
is quite the chilling horror film. Just saw Space
Pirate Captain Harlock

nerd totem pole, Leiji Matsumoto
Personally I think Django Unchained

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Hate this part.
Um, my cat,
the written word,
something with which to write words (preferably involving typing, I
hold pencils too low and too tight so my hand cramps; I also type
faster than I write. A pity shorthand is a dead art.),
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
The next step. I have a new home in Shoreline with some pretty cool
roommates, a good job, now to take care of that car issue. I sort
of did a soft reset on life, so I kind of have to switch to the
turbo controller now.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Honestly, every week seems to be something new, last Friday I
aquired my first tattoo. If we meet, I might gush, It's my first
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Ignoring how inappropriate using private for such a question is...
I have a hate on for 50 Shades of Gray as he, were he real and not
derived from some Twilight fan fiction drivel, would be a disgrace
to the bdsm community and no self respecting Dom, least of all
myself, would want to be like him. I suppose being rich would be
cool, but that would deflate my rant!
